Everything was good but the extra charge for linens and towels was a little over the top. I spent more than enough and had to pay for that too. Other than that it was perfect for what we needed. I would think about visiting again.

Unexpected

We live three hours away from the property and on our way to a family function, we received a text with the details of the property along with a statement telling us there was going to be an additional charge if we wanted to use their linens and towels ($10 per person). We explained that the listing said this things were provided. She then said they would be free of charge. We inquired about staying until noon instead of 10 and were told that it would be a $30 fee. The home was clean and neat but had a sewer smell and the coffee maker did not work.

Friendly tips

I will speak out of my perspective what could help this vacation spot be even better (we liked it for purpose of rest and staycation). I didn't realize that it was part of , let's say resort, for a lack of better word, but it was really out of that complex anyway, house on the side of route 6, so yes, you can hear lots of trucks passing by from a queen size room which is on that side of the house, facing route 6, but other 2 bedrooms, king size and with 2 double beds, are facing behind the house house had orange triangles at front and a sign, to help you make a turn to it's driveway in a timely manner, though it took us 2 tries . House was also decorated with outdoor Christmas lights that framed the house, but, and this is where it could improve , at least during winter months, there were no decorations inside, a nice garland and maybe few ornaments/sculptures around the fireplace and mantel would be nice. Grill needs time to successfully finish the meat you have on it, something about the cilinder possibly, I didn't understand the man of our party the best . There is a little ducky with a key hanging next to the door frame that says hot tub, but no directions on where that hot tub might be, and my theory was that it's down the road, few miles away, where the welcome center and the complex with several other cabins was I emailed for the code day before and that day but didn't get it, so when we realized that there are 2 different addresses, our cabin "Chestnut" and
