We stayed here for four months while our home was being rebuilt in a neighboring town. Angel was such a kind and attentive host. She was always on top of things and willing to work with us. The place was newly renovated and in excellent condition. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were SUPER comfortable. The TV and internet was stronger and more reliable than what I experience back in Florida in a highly populated area.
We would often see deer and other wildlife in the clear beyond the yard and would leave the doors open to hear the sounds of the wildlife in the evenings.
My kids loved the pool and it was perfect for hot summer days.
As our stay drew to a close, my wife joked, "Think we can just scrap our build and just rent this place forever?" I was tempted to say yes as I also did not want to leave.
This beautiful apartment was even better than represented. It had everything we wanted and more. Beautiful windows on both sides bring in sunlight and starlight. The balcony provides a space to enjoy the stars. The kitchen is well equipped, and stocked with coffee, tra and accouterments. The bedrooms are lovely and cozy. The bathroom was homey, airy and beautifully stocked. And we began and ended each day in the comfy, lovely livingroom, reading, chatting and enjoying a glass of wine with cookies. We are already planning to return next year in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and deck chairs. This has been our best experience ever!
Worked well for us as a base camp while working in the area. Very clean and the most comfortable bed pillows! Everything we needed was there and Angel was very responsive to any questions we had. I wish we had more time to enjoy the pool. Close to the highway, you can hear it outside, but lots of fans inside and the pool sprinklers in the back drowned out any noise.
Our vacation to Maine was amazing! I was nervous about booking a house outside of Bangor or Portland but it was the best decision I made. Pittsfield was a great place for us to start and end our daily adventures. No trip took us over and hour and a half to get to which wouldn’t have been the case if we had stayed in a larger city.
The house was well stocked with everything one would need. The pool was amazing! It was abnormally hot in Maine when we visited but by positioning the air conditioning and fans in strategic places it wasn’t bad.
Angel was an amazing hostess. She gave us amazing recommendations and also treated us to homemade fresh fried zucchini, it was wonderful.
If we ever make a trip back to Maine we would book to stay with Angel in Pittsfield!
The above garage apartment was beautiful, cozy, and so comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice on how spacious it is. Angel provided everything we needed, like coffees and soaps.
The pool was perfect also.
While you are on the same property as the owner, you have plenty of privacy, and the wooded surroundings let you know you are in Maine.
Definitely would stay here again.
