Because of the home's historic nature, there are spots in the floor that are a little uneven. We have placed rugs over the problem spots.

Our home is pet friendly. We welcome up to two pets for an additional pet fee of $65. If you would like to bring more than two pets, please send me a message prior to booking.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATER:
Our home is located next to the local drive-in movie theater. We have never had any complaints about noise or light from the theater. If there are cars lined up to get into the theater, just drive past and pull into the driveway. You do not have to wait in the traffic. Please see our great reviews or message me with any questions or concerns.

BOOKING BOTH PROPERTIES:
This home is a duplex with a shared driveway but no shared walls. Please message me If you need more space for a larger group and you're interested in renting out both properties.

Charming property

Excellent kitchen with everything I needed. Comfortable, clean, and cozy! Fenced in yard was very nice for our dogs. Location is a busy spot which was an advantage for us because it was close to everything including restaurants and hiking trails.

Perfect and Easy

Check in was a breeze. Very quaint and comfortable place. Nice front yard for our dog. Patio was very nice and relaxing. Garage was surprisingly large, it fit our truck.

Wedding in Montrose

This was a nice property for a small group. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old and 4 month old. We had all the kitchen amenities so we were able to cook, and full laundry room was nice. Nice front yard to play yard games too. Very comfy!

Jeep Adventure 2024

We used this as our home base for exploring trails near Ouray. This home was a much better value than anything we could find for 4 adults in the Ouray / Telluride areas. The home was clean and well equipped. We appreciated being able to use the garage and felt comfortable leaving items behind at the house that we did not need for the day. Even the sofa bed turned out to be comfortable.

Comfy Cozy

We really enjoyed staying at this house. Nice rooms, comfy beds and a nice yard for the dog to spend some off lease time in. That is one of the harder things to find when vacationing and one of the main reasons we choose this house. Did not disappoint.

Loved our stay and very convenient to Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Communication was great and very responsive to questions. Worked well for our family and full kitchen with cabinets labeled with items was so incredibly helpful.

Comfy Retreat

The home was adorable; it was clean and had every thing we needed for a trip away from home. Close to town for when we needed something and close enough to the San Juan Mountains for our adventure. Toni was great to work with; always kind and very responsive. If we are ever in need for a home in Montrose again I’ll be checking this property first.

Very comfortable, clean and good location.

My husband and I and our 2 adult children were very comfortable in this location. Extremely clean, owner was very informative about check in process. Detailed book with recommendations for trails, restaurants etc. Kitchen was well stocked, laundry and a fenced yard for our dog. Great location to Black Canyon. In transition

A perfect place to stay for 3 weeks while we move to Montrose. All the conveniences of home Toni was available to fix a TV issue which was appreciated The yard was perfect for our dog. The location was perfect for the activities associated with moving and a long term stay

Great Stay

The house was spacious and clean. The fenced in yard was great for our daughters dog, he loved the soft grass. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after a long day seeing the sites. Black Canyon NP is close by as is Ouray. Toni the property owner was easy to access when we had questions. I. would highly recommend this property to others.

Hotels suck in Montrose

We chose a VRBO when going to watch our son compete in high school golf state championship because the hotels are awful in Montrose. Our rental was home a way from home with all the amenities we’re used to. Also we got to bring our dog which he enjoyed the beautiful front yard. Home was very clean and owner was very quick to respond.

Girl Family of 5 visiting relatives for the weekend

I clean for a couple VRBOs in my spare time, so I’m keenly aware of cleanliness & all that a VRBO should be. Usually they are too expensive but in this case, it was an equal price tag with five times the space & ultimate privacy. My Army husband is always skeptical of travel accommodations and pleasantly complimented me on this booking with, “Good score!”. I’d stay here again & have already recommended it for other relatives.

Lovely Stay

The property was very clean, bright and quite spacious, and was perfect for two adults & two children. Toni has taken the time to consider her guests’ needs and included thoughtful touches such as bedside phone chargers and a binder with activity & restaurant recommendations. This was the first VRBO I’ve stayed in where the owner posted important phone numbers and labeled kitchen drawers to help guests find things quickly! She even left a handwritten note to thank us for staying! All of these details ensured a lovely stay. We’d certainly stay again and would definitely recommend this property!

This Old House

Very clean. Cozy and comfortable. I liked the labeling on the cabinets and drawers. Was in town for daughter’s wedding as were other family and friends. Would’ve liked to had them over to see the house but the parking was limited. (Only downside). Other than that,a great place to stay.

Plenty of rooms and a convenient location

We stayed here with 5 kids. There were plenty of beds and they were all comfortable! The bathrooms were nice too. We loved having laundry. The house is old, but remodeled so it does have some old house features like uneven floors and loud pipes, but we didn’t have any issues. There were not any blackout curtains and it was very bright at 6am, but hopefully they’ll add some. It was easy to get to Black Canyon and down to Ridgway and Ouray from here. Montrose has everything you need!

Comfortable Home

We were very comfortable as we only stayed 3 nights and weren't in the home very long. We were in town for a wedding and were visiting with friends or attending events most of the time. There was a nice yard and outdoor patio with a grill but none of them were used. The only thing I would improve on is a dresser in each room as the closets were small and none in 1 bedroom. The rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable. The kitchen could use a little more cleaning but we didn't use it much.

We love our home's unique history. It was originally built in 1909 and has been remodeled with bright rooms and modern fixtures. We provide local Cimarron coffee, tea, cocoa, creamer, and sugar for your mornings. We provide games, books, streaming services and Nintendo Switch for those traveling with families. We provide a welcome basket for those traveling with dogs, including a soft blanket, pet towel, lint roller, dog bowls, waste bags, and treats. The fenced patio is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink, or grab a lounge chair under the shade trees in the fenced front yard. This home is great for travelers of all ages.
