We really enjoyed our stay. The building is new; it was clean; the "kitchen" is cleverly contained in a closet-sized space, but everything is there, and we were able to manage breakfast and dinner very well. We used the outside gas grill, and we also enjoyed the fire pit (wood was supplied). The location is fantastic! You are really by yourselves with a view of a small mountain, woods, and there is a small pond. It is so quiet - you don't have the noises of populated areas. One night was clear, and the stars looked so close in a black sky, since there is no light pollution. We were not able to get Wi-Fi or the TV to work, but there had been a significant storm the day we arrived that knocked down trees across roads and some power lines. We had contact with the owner, and she tried to provide help with these issues, including getting in touch with the electric company and Internet provider.
Nice clean space. It's like two hotel rooms with a bathroom between them, railroad style. Both have a Queen and a Full. There is a small kitchenette in the "foyer" and a small dinette off the second bedroom. One thing to note is that it is down a long dark mountain path, so it makes for a very secluded stay, with great mountain views.
We stopped here for a quick ski getaway to Gore Mtn. The location was great and it suited our needs well. My sister enjoyed the coffee in the morning and everyone found the beds comfortable. The WiFi was spotty and kept kicking us off and our phones did not get service. That was the only issue we ran into during our stay. Otherwise, it was a perfect spot and I would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient comfortable spot to stay near Gore Mtn. or for cross country skiing.
This was a little less than 10 minutes from Gore. It was like a double hotel room with four queen beds, almost a full kitchen. Extremely quiet and tranquil location. We will be back every year to this location. Last, the host was very accommodating!
The house is new and very well taken care of, everything is very well thought through for convenience of the guests. Beautiful pond and area around the house is very remote and quiet. Perfect for small family or friends get together. Gore mountain and Cross country skiing is very close. Thank you .
