This beautiful cabin is Brand New and we can't wait for you to make the best memories on this property.
We just finished the outdoor landscape/firepit area and are so excited for our guest to a cool evening around the fire. You won't want to miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our wrap-around deck while drinking a hot cup of coffee or sitting in the hot tub. You can also spot turkey in the front yard and if you're lucky maybe even a moose. (Warning Signs on the Road for them)

We had a lovely time! The space was great for our group of friends, we enjoyed the hot tub and porch quite a bit. We also loved the kitchen and living room set up, we all fit nicely for games in the evening and could chat while cooking. The sunrises were stunning and the quiet view was probably my favorite part!
This home was absolutely beautiful and the view was stunning! The host was very reaponsive to any questions we had. Everyone had an amazing time and we wished we had more time to stay and enjoy the home. I would highly recommend this home!
This VRBO was amazing. House was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful snowed in week with friends. We loved the hot tub and pool table. We would go back in a heartbeat. The host was very responsive and was able to resolve an issue we had at check in which we seriously appreciated! The home was located in a perfect spot- away from towns and cities, but only a 4 minute drive from a store for general items and about 20 minutes from the grocery store/ coffee shops. And the view is spectacular. We will be coming back for sure!
We had a great time at this property. The kids loved spending time in the hot tub. There was a lot of stuff to do. I liked that there was only one TV. It made us have to get outside and enjoy time together. We also liked all the games and the kid toy area. The bedrooms were cozy and everyone had a bed to sleep on. The view and quietness were the best.
Property is very clean. Sleeping spaces were great. Nicely decorated, easy drive to local towns and colleges. The mountain views are beautiful ! Would recommend. (ps: does have a back entrance ramp... but not really ADA compliant for wheel chair user. I didnt rent it for such, but noticed another review had mentioned WC and agree with statement)
Kathyrn's property was beautifully situated in peaceful Vermontville, about 15 minutes from Lake Saranac and 30 minutes from Lake Placid. The log cabin is well-appointed - unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the fire pit, but we made good use of the Weber grill and hot tub, and we all sharpened our billiard and cornhole skills.
There were 10 of us and the bedroom accommodations were very comfortable. Loved the airiness of high ceilings and ceiling fans. Despite the rainy weather, there wasn't humidity and no one felt damp or cold. The one drawback was that there are only 2.5 baths (one of which was en suite), and one of the shared toilets was not working for about half the time. Kathryn was very responsive and her maintenance man was able to fix it for the last day and night of our stay.
Overall, a highly recommended host and property. We loved our getaway.

Vermontville stay
overall the stay was successful.
The contact person who was supposed to meet us. never showed up, or called.
There wasn't any Ice melt for the entrance stairs
We didn't find the shovel until Sunday, as we were leaving.
(it was under some chairs on the porch, covered with snow).
The Accessible ramp to get into the house was covered with snow, and there was a 4+ inch lip to get into the house.
We physically had to take the wheelchair and occupant up the front steps.
Once in the house the ADA accessible room & shower were wonderful.
All of the beds were very comfortable and the Kitchen was very nice.
There was no ADA access to the upstairs, nor downstairs unless you went outside and half way around house through the snow .
To call this house wheelchair accessible is misleading.
(I would like to see an average person in a wheelchair get into this house unassisted)
And to add to the annoyance we saw the same property on line a week later for almost half of what we payed.

No mascotas
Cuando te vas se te para una persona afuera hasta que te retiras, muy violenta la persecución

About the host

Welcome to my page. I love that you're here. 4+ years ago I started a short term rental business. I don't own any of the properties I manage, most of them are owned by local Amish families. I love being a host and would love hosting you. I thrive and make it a goal to make everyone's stay with me a peaceful, refreshing and enjoyable visit.
I love traveling, exploring new places, hiking, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy spending time with friends and being an encouragement to everyone I meet.
