The location is beautiful. The cabin is clean comfortable and very well kept up. Our host Jennifer is the best. She is helpful with all our questions. She answers our calls promptly. I will not hesitate to stay here again. I will recommend Cozy Cabin on Lake Lure to everyone.
Great location for snowmobiling. Cute, cozy and clean cabin. Everything was ans expected with minor issue of tv not working, but in my mind that helped our family bond better.
Place was clean, but heater doesn't work which left the house freezing during my stay in the winter. Small space heater I kept going all night in the bedroom but that was it. There is a fireplace, but no wood. Shower also only has scalding hot water or cool water, hard to get it to a temp that was comfortable. Probably would give it 4 stars for a summer stay but if its cold outside expect to be cold inside.
The View Saturday morning was absolutely beautiful.
The only bad thing is sitting out on the porch in the morning and seeing all the neighbors pile of trash in the back yard. And We had to bring trash home with us because there's no outdoor garbage bin.
The lake and little sandy beach area were fantastic. How wonderful it was to wake up with that view. I don't think I've ever stayed at a property that was as well stocked as this one! So much more than what was listed in the property's description. All sorts of games and floats under the deck. Even a cornhole set and a giant float for the lake. There are two houses on either side of the cottage, but it was still pretty quiet. The only negative was the shower. Oh my goodness, it was not good. Very cramped and we only seemed to be able to get scalding hot water. My 6 foot 2 inch tall boyfriend was not happy. That was really the only negative. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Nice comfy bed too!
Was in town for a wedding, nice location away from town. Wall heater works great and space heaters in the bedrooms were more than enough to start cozy.
We had a great time here! Very cute, our five year old Loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed fishing at the lake. The kayaks were a huge bonus! Thanks for the great time. :)
Super cute and relaxing cottage. Our children loved it! We took out the kayaks, rowboat, grilled outside, and enjoyed that view. What a beautiful part of Michigan! The hostess was amazing, kind and did all she could to ensure we were able to stay an extra night as we loved it so much we had to stay an additional night.

Peaceful. The shower is to small and valve either burns you or freezes you! No in between.
My vision of my little cabin on the has been fulfilled! Absolutely loved the log cabin look inside and was clean inside and fully stocked! And the host was very friendly and helpful, only thing I don't really see any walking trails other driving to the park, other than that we absolutely loved the cabin!

This place was exactly as its name and the listing described. We wanted to get away from work/life obligations for a weekend and this was perfect for it.
Jennifer’s communication and support was outstanding- apparently the previous guest shut off the heater pilot light so it was frigid when we arrived.I sent her a message and she immediately told us where to find space heaters and her husband walked me thru getting the heater going, and offered to personally come do it if I had issues.
I will absolutely rent this place again and give it my highest recommendation.
Stairs very difficult to use. Very dangerous. No rails. Floors are nasty. Bathroom shower too tiny. Sink nice cuz it had been replaced. Lounge chairs so old the metal frame poked you. I wouldn’t call it cozy or a cottage
It really is a cozy little cottage! We really enjoyed are stay. Location and view were great. Very clean and stocked with every day essentials. Little beach was fun, but not for swimming. Little pier to fish right there. Rowboat and kayaks for use right there as well. There was a fire pit on the little beach, would love to have used, but was told by a resident about a city no burn notice, which we knew nothing about and wouldn’t have known if we weren’t told by a local resident.
