🚫 Guests have access to the main level, outdoor deck/porch, and surrounding property. Although the owners won't be present during your stay, the lower level is reserved for them. We kindly ask guests to respect their privacy and avoid entering that space.

❄️ WINTER RESERVATIONS: Guests must have a 4-wheel drive vehicle equipped with snow-capable tires. Rear-wheel-drive vehicles are not recommended. Additionally, while the road to the cabin is regularly plowed, guests may need to clear the walkway and parking area themselves.

📷 Please note that we have installed a single exterior camera facing the deck/shed to ensure the safety and security of both our guests and the property. There are no cameras inside the property. Our cameras are motion-activated and recordings are stored in the cloud. There is also a noise detection device installed at the cabin, but it is no longer active. Do not unplug or tamper with any security devices, including the Ring Camera, or any other essential devices.

📝 Rental Agreement & Government ID:
Our insurance company requires a clear definition of the guest-host relationship, hence the need for a rental agreement. This agreement confirms the terms between our guests and our company. The signer of the rental agreement must match the government ID provided.

💳 Security Deposit:
A security deposit "hold" of $500 is required for all reservations. It is a temporary hold on the card processed by "Stripe," a widely trusted credit card processor. This hold will take place 2 days before your arrival and will be released 2 days after your departure, provided that the property is left in good condition and the house rules are followed.

They provide assurance to our property owners and protect us from situations where damage caused by guests may not be adequately covered by platform protections.

Peaceful Getaway

The home was beautiful and had all the amenities needed. The bedroom was a little small and is lacking anywhere to store your belongings. We had to leave our clothes in our suitcases in the living room. There was a mis-communication between the homeowner and the property manager and workers showed up to do some landscaping. After a couple of messages, the work was rescheduled as to no interrupt our vacation. Listening to the soothing sounds of the river outside was amazing and the wildlife we saw when driving to and from the home was great. Would definitely stay again.

Great, cozy location

This was a fun place to stay for a few days. The creek was bigger and louder than expected but it was beautiful. I just had to remind myself that it was the creek when I thought it was pouring rain outside. The property is clean and well taken care of. Would definitely visit again!

Love this little cabin in the mountains

The cabin is well represented by the online photos. It’s so cozy and comfy. The gas fireplace worked great, added warmth and atmosphere. We loved cracking the door open and hearing the river below. We were there in May and had a wonderful surprise with a couple inches of snow. Being from Texas this added positively to our trip. Bedroom is very small and limited storage. Kitchen is well equipped and has a very nice gas stove. Easy to cook in.

This was one of the best vacation rentals ever!

My girlfriend and I intentionally waited to respond to the review to make sure we weren't just recovering from altitude sickness to say how amazing & how much we loved this property! It was quiet, clean, and the snowfall made everything perfect for snuggling in front of the fireplace. Do not go in the winter without 4WD, and be sure to bring good food to cook on the well appointed kitchen. Close enough to Breckinridge, but far enough away to not worry about crowds and hassles.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. The view from the windows was incredible with many brook trout to see in the water. It even snowed while we were there! As folks from Michigan this was a very special experience. Thank you for the opportunity to stay!

Better than it looked

The outside doesn't look like much more than a shack but inside they've done a good job renovating and making it look nice and feel cozy. It was my husband and me plus our two toddlers. I would say it's really not big enough for more than 2 people even small kids. We brought our king size blow up mattress to put them on but that made me nervous because of the stairs and the fireplace. It worked but I wouldn't do it again. I would definitely recommend as a getaway point for a couple just needing the one bedroom. It was clean, water was hot, fireplace made sure everyone went from chilly to sweating very quickly and communication was super easy and fast.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!!!!!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 5 yr wedding anniversary in Colorado. Came across this beautiful place online! And let me tell you, it is exactly what it is!!!! Cute, peaceful, and wonderful getaway for two!! And it could also be also a family trip with children. I noticed games, books and a checkerboard in the livingroom area. The house has an openess feel with the large bay windows facing the North & East of the property with the sounds of Mill Creek flowing constantly which brought much calmness and relaxation to our trip!! Just what we wanted!! We did do some exploring around the property and surrounding little towns. I do advise if you're staying there more than one day, stop into Idaho Springs first to pickup your groceries. There isn't one in Dumont. Be sure to bring your own shopping bags, because they do charge for their's. Good thing my cousin told me to bring mine's from Iowa!! Oh btw, we had know issues with using the WI-FI or making any phone calls. The locals were very friendly around the property as well as in the town of Idaho Springs. I do recommend sightseeing there in IS (Idaho Springs), cute litte historic town. Yes, I definitely recommend staying on this property if you want to getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life!! My husband and I may make this our anniversary trip annually!! Thank you!!

Perfectly peaceful

We loved our weekend getaway here!! This cabin had so many amenities in addition to it’s absolute natural beauty! This is the perfect meditation place with Mill Creek providing the 247 music for the ears and the soul! Finally, it was the best place to be on a 98 degree day in the city!! We’ll be back!!!!

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend getaway at this property. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we could want. The kitchen was fully stocked and fun to cook in. The living room was cozy. The bed was comfortable. The dining area was gorgeous; love all the windows. The deck was the best feature. Truly loved the creek! The WiFi worked great. Please note, we have Verizon and had no signal at the property. We had not saved or taken screenshots of the guest book with the checkin code/instructions. Make sure that you know the code to get in as well as the WiFi info before you arrive. Be prepared for a beautiful home in a gorgeous environment. So very peaceful.

Mountain Retreat

What a beautiful place. It was the quiet serenity we had been hoping for. We got a little bit of what mountain weather was like. Sunny and 60 one day and the beautiful snowfall another. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Ski/mountain cabin getaway

The cabin is beautiful in a picturesque neighborhood. Like a postcard. From the picture windows over looking snow filled landscape along with a babbling brook, made for the perfect stay. Even the snow covered drive up to the cabin was enchanting

Solo Retreat Space

I was in desperate need of a space for a weekend retreat to do some personal reflection and planning. Everything at this cabin seems to have been thoughtfully curated for a beautiful experience.
