Home away from home

Had a minor issue getting into the house the first time. After figuring out what number to call, everything else was great, quiet, not too far from town. Just what we needed

Lovely retreat!

Absolutly beautiful view of the mountains from the patio or fire pit! Nice rural area, very quiet and peaceful. Quick trip to the west gate of Glacier NP. A deer family walked through the yard - a buck and a doe nursing her polka dot baby!

Great accommodations

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here while visiting Glacier National Park. It was a wonderful place to come back to rest in the evenings. Quiet, peaceful, with horses, deer, and sunrises over the mountains. We enjoyed grilling our dinner instead of eating out and having a place away from the busyness. Beds were comfy and the washer and dryer was just what we needed in the middle if a 2 week trip. We enjoyed our stay!

Love it here!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Denise and Keith’s property and we LOVE it here. It’s the perfect getaway for families with lots to do to fill your time - or do nothing at all! There’s really something for everyone. The houses are beautifully thought out with everything that you would need to make your stay great.

On a "soccer vacation"

After a day at the soccer field, it was nice to come "home" to a peaceful little house and property. The pond was beautiful and we appreciated all the boats that were available. Very well done!!

Lazy

A beautiful property. So clean and comfortable. My sister and enjoying ourselves. We became so lazy watching the dear horses and a fox that’s all we wanted to do. Wel would go into town and there was so much traffic we would say let’s just go back to the house and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Wow! Just a wonderful stay!

My husband and I and our golden retriever thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at Untamed Pastures. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, and a refrigerator stocked with eggs, muffins, butter, juice, and huckleberry jam. This was just one example of the hospitality provided by the owners, Denise and Keith, and by the on-site property managers, Jeremy and Lindsay. Denise and Keith just recently bought the property and it is clear they are putting their heart and soul into maintaining and updating the facilities to give their guests the best experience possible. On one of our first days there, I asked Jeremy if the old pedal boat left behind by the previous owners was working. It wasn't but that evening Denise bought a brand new one, and the next day (and most days we were there) we were having a blast pedaling the boat in the creek. In another instance, the Internet connection went out, and Jetemy and Denise once again teamed up to make sure it got fixed. Ground was being broken for a spa and I'm sure it will soon be a wonderful addition to all the other amenities. Our vacation ranch house was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated with a western theme. Everything was well stocked so the only thing we needed to supply was food (although we could get strawberries from the garden and eggs from the coop!). The furniture was comfortable and the bed was great. All of the appliances were in good working order and it was so covenient to have the full size washer and dryer so we didn't have to waste precious vacation time going to the laundromat. There is a covered car port which we used as our patio and it was a great spot for having our meals, watching the colors play on the mountains and the horses and cows grazing in the adjoining fields. The fenced backyard was wonderful for our dog as was the pond where he went swimming every day (especially nice at the end of the day to wash him off)! The location is wonderful in so many ways. It is rural but not isolated, and is convenient to drive to Kalispell, Whitefish, and the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. It is on a dead end so there is no worry about traffic. We loved listening to the quiet, broken only occasionally by the sounds of the cows and horses on the neighboring farms. It is a unique and special place. Thank you Denise, Keith, Jetemy and Lindsay! We can't wait to come back!

Slice is heaven in Kalispell

We couldn’t have asked for a better escape from the Arizona heat for 3 weeks. The property is private with mountain views in all directions and a picturesque stream along the west side. We appreciated the close proximity to Kalispell, Whitefish, and GNP - a great central location to base your stay. Great local establishments: Rough Cut Ciderworks Sacred Waters Brewery Apple Barrel for local fresh produce/meat Moose’s Saloon - pizza Nickel Charlie’s - breakfast We enjoyed pasture views with horses, deer, and turkeys with the ever changing mountain and sky as the backdrop. The chickens were always fun to watch and were producing lots of eggs. Our dogs truly enjoyed being in the country and walking the property and roads, the fenced yard was perfect! Denise was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating. She and her team do a great job maintaining the property. We would stay at this property again anytime!❤️

Comfortable House in a Gorgeous Location

House was very comfortable -- great AC, all the amenities you'd expect, and the outside table with chairs was perfect for enjoying the surrounding scenery. We didn't have time to enjoy the chickens or most other parts of their property like the fruit trees, but definitely would stay again and do so.

Adorable place

I would describe this place as aorable, quaint, cute just a great little place view is awesome Centrally located 5 miles from airport .Wall Heater and ac unit worked great . To get the heater or ac to work you set the mode and temp turn remote off then back on unit will start. Also washer start button you have to push it multiple times until it finally will start probobly the button is acting up need to let Denise know.Beds hard as a rock we are use to soft beds was difficult for me as an older person not much sleep because beds too hard.Really large washer and dryer. Be advised shower only plenty hot water ,no tub for those who like to bathe. The dirt road leaves your car dusty and dirty but nothin car wash cant fix. Id love to live in Montana but the winters uuughh!!! All in all a great little place to stay you wont be disappointed. We like our privacy ,day we left someone was outside doing stuff in yard woke us up.I had to go to store at 9am as soon as I left 30 seconds later someone was knocking on the door and my wife was still in bed she jumped up got dressed and answered door no one was there they left.I suppose they could have waited til we checked out that would have given them 5 hours to get the place ready for next guest.Jim & Caroline

Fabulous Montana Vacation

This was one of the best vacation rentals my family and I have been too. Montana is an amazing state and this location unlocked more beauties than my family could have imagined. With only a short drive to Glacier National Park, we were able to enjoy the majestic views that nature has to offer and hiking. Kalispell has so many amenities but the charm of a small town which is just what our family was looking for; a home away from home! Denise is a very kind and generous renter and offers so much for vacationers that others do not: a private steam behind the spot with paddle boards and kayaks as well as reviews for the best activities in the area. We would highly recommend and we will be coming back soon to enjoy more!
