Stay in the charming “Cottage Novella” in Lewistown, MT hosted by Lagom1Stay. This historical Croatian stone structure was once the Schroeder Midwifery Hospital, built in 1903. Centrally located & just a few blocks to downtown events, restaurants, local shops, & museums. Surrounded by paths, parks, mountains & trails. In summer enjoy the public pool & ice skating rink in the winter. Exceptional hunting & fishing throughout Central, MT. Wonderful location for traveling business professionals!
An antique door is situated amongst the stone walls of the residence, which welcomes you with warmth & character. A porch swing hangs & is a cool place to sit throughout the day.
As you enter the home the entry is bright & open with a wooden desk & sitting chairs. The entry has a cozy designated work space with plenty of windows surrounding to enjoy any needed computer time. On the main floor you also have a full space for dining & living which includes WIFI & Smart TV. In addition there is a new & contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower & natural tiled flooring. The updated kitchen exudes charm with its refurbished wood & metal cabinets & a laundry/pantry room adjacent, great for longer stays. During the day listen to the birds chirp through the kitchen window as you brew your coffee. In the winter watch the snow fall through the colonial style windows. Tuck into various places to have quiet time or join one-another in one of the larger communal spaces to enjoy meals, games, or film.
Up the wooden stairs are 3 bedrooms. Through the french doors is the "Master Bedroom" with a king size bed & includes high ceilings, ample lighting options, a sitting area with a reading nook to relax in, & two large windows with wonderful natural light & fantastic natural air-flow. The 2nd bedroom is a queen size bed & includes a comfortable lounger sitting nook. The angled ceiling in this room adds the right amount of historical feels. The 3rd bedroom is an intimate space with a queen size bed & a deep closet & offers a large & bright window to relax near. At the top of the stairs is also a couch located in the Master Bedroom where one can retreat from the main spaces downstairs. A Jacuzzi tub bathroom welcomes you with a window above the tub, complete with natural light as you soak & enjoy bath salts/bubbles. This space has a new tiled tub surround & floor to give it a fresh & updated look.
Outside there is a south-facing patio with a fire-pit & a great space for yard games & a barbecue. Plenty of natural sunlight throughout the day & incredible views on a clear evening of the stars while sitting around a natural wood burning fire.
