Stay during CP3 Camp
The property was great. Just a few changes or additions. I would change the type of bed covers they use - very nosiey for light sleepers. Also add a waffle maker Other then that it was a fabulous stay and extremely clean.

Cozy cottage
Cute house with a shady yard in a great location. Only downsides were the lack of hair dryer (that I could find) despite it being listed in description and no extra blanket for the sleeper sofa so we wound up using the lap blankets that could be found throughout the house. Definitely recommend this place, but being your own hair dryer if you use one. :)

Disappointed
I booked this property over a year ago for graduation. My family including 2 grandkids stayed here. The house was quite filthy overall. Here’s the issues I spoke to the owner about: Carpets were horrible with stains Couches also were stained White washcloths had black stains Several lightbulbs were out or missing ( no replacements provided) The provided body wash and shampoo were empty ( no refills were provided) One kitchen stool was broken and cushion busted A knob was missing on a kitchen cabinet Additionally, we were provided one clothes washing pod to be used to wash towels upon leaving. Bare minimum supplies were provided. There were no chairs for the outside porches. The owner responded that the picture didn’t have chairs, the black washcloths were for makeup (there were black ones that said makeup, the ones I’m referring to were white), that the cleaners were suppose to refill soaps and that he left lightbulbs but someone must have taken them. I have stayed in several Vrbo properties and have been impressed until this one! For the amount of money spent I am very disappointed and would NOT recommend this property to anyone!!!! I did take pictures if needed.

Nice and clean
Main living areas were good. Listing said sleeps 10 only beds for 6 and hide a bed. Had to walk through a bedroom to get to third bedroom and second bathroom. Only towels for 6. Washer and dryer was nice. Toaster did not work. It was close to where we needed to be so it worked out.

Visiting Daughter for 21st Birthday
The house was very comfortable. Was not aware the central AC was not working. The house did stay very cool with the window units. The layout of the house was a little funky.

About the host

Hello! My name is William West (my friends call me Tyler) and here is a little about myself. I come from a large family down in North Carolina and grew up out in the country, so naturally I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and fishing.

I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship. For work, I run a few companies that have been started since college and travel a few times a year for work.

Why they chose this property

We are very selective with the homes our team chooses to manage, and when this one became available it was a must have. To start, it just looks cozy. The previous tenants rented for over 20 years and they really took care of the place. The place is newly refinished with brand new appliances, a nice heating system, new countertops and more. We love this home, because while it is an older home (built in the mid 1900s) it does not have an old feel or much compromise for comfort. It does still have older cabinets and windows as well as the original door handles and doors with the place (which we thought was unique). Everything is genuine hard wood inside the home and real granite counter tops. To top things off a nearly wrap around porch, large back porch and huge back yard made this place have so much potential, and we are excited to finally list it for you guys to enjoy.

What makes this property unique
