Beautiful House On Grass Runway With Fly-In/Fly-Out Access

Located a few miles from downtown Tecumseh, MI, the house is located on 10 acres of land, including a wooded area with walking trails. It is also part of the Merillat Airport (34G) community, a grass runway. Perfect for fly-in/fly-out guests, or if you just want to sit on the back balcony or by the fire pit and watch planes take off and land. The house is also 25 miles away from Ann Arbor and University of Michigan and 20 miles from MIS. It is also only minutes away from both Tecumseh and Adrian, both with beautiful shops and great restaurants! It is also a central location for many wedding venues and golf courses as well.

Family trip to Michigan for daughter's college graduation

Very nice property! Lots of room for our family to spread out. Welcomed surprise with snacks available in fridge/freezer upon our arrival (great as our flight arrived late and we did not have time for dinner)! Property lacked coffee pot (Keurig was available, but our family drinks A LOT of coffee) and grill needed to be replaced. Host very responsive when we needed dishwasher detergent and tissues.

Fun football weekend

Family & friends enjoyed our weekend at the full house on grass runway. House was clean & had plenty of room for our party of 10. Very nice house that was decorated in holiday cheer. Taylor did a great job.

A must stay

Absolutely recommend staying here. The house is beautiful, clean and full of everything you may need. Huge back yard and fire pit. The owner is very nice and responds quickly. We didn’t have any issues at all , he was very accommodating to party size . We will be coming back!

Great host

The day before our stay a bad storm had came thru the area knocking out power in the area. Taylor was keeping me updated on the status and since it wasnnt going to come back on the first night, we were refunded that night. We were able to stay the next night. We werent at the house very long as we got in late and had to leave early, but what we did see and use was very nice. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend to friends. Taylor is a great host!!!

Wonderful and relaxing

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. The house was clean and very well stocked. The location is great; quiet area but close to several quaint towns. This is a great location if you are looking for peace and quiet and a place to unwind. It also has the added feature of being located on a small air field were we could watch small private planes and ultralights takeoff and land. The host was great and very responsive.

Great house and lovely atmosphere

A group of 6 gal pals stayed here for a girls weekend. The space is huge, lots of bathrooms. Games in the basement. We had such a nice time. We do wish there was a couch in the basement but there was plenty of seating. Never been to the area but we really enjoyed the downtown, Pentamere Winery, and Salsaria's.

Great Home

We had a great stay at this property. We chose it because it was close to Michigan International Speedway, and we wanted to be able to attend the Nascar Cup Race over the weekend. It was a great location to stay. Will definitely book it again if we are back in that area for another race.

Excellent getaway with a lot of space and character

Absolutely a great atmosphere inside and outside of the house. Plenty of space for rest, entertaining, and it has an excellent view from the back. The host was quick to respond to questions and willing to go out of their way to help with our requests. We’d be happy to come here again!

Great location for a bachelor party weekend

I rented this home for a bachelor party weekend with my groomsmen and friends. The home and property is very spacious, with more than enough room for a larger group. We took advantage of the space by setting up several gaming consoles and TVs in the basement and outdoor games like cornhole in the backyard. Location is great and a short drive away from restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Taylor, was very flexible and accommodating for our larger group. Taylor was very easy to communicate and coordinate with, answering my questions very quickly and checking in during the course of the stay in case we needed anything. Would absolutely recommend for anybody looking for a weekend out with friends!

Great Place in Tecumseh MI

It was a great location for my family as we were celebrating my Mom's 95th birthday. Perfect size for my immediate family with the ability to have space to invite my extended family over for a cook out. The Host was very gracious in taking care of few issues we encounter. We would greatly recommend this location.

Central Location for many SE MI golf courses

A few golfing groups wanted a getaway and we decided in SE Michigan. There are a few very nice courses less than a hour from this vicinity. 3 The property has 5 bedrooms with 3 having their own bathrooms and the other two share a bathroom. Manageable kitchen and extra refrigerator/freezer to bring your own "goodies". Basement has a large screen TV and a pool table with other games available. The towns of Tecumseh and Blissfield are very close with a few dining establishments. The host was easy to communicate with and returned messages promptly.

The airport community is very friendly and kind and it is VERY peaceful at night with a fire in the fire pit or just watching the stars and fireflies on a summer night. In the winter, it's relaxing to watch from the kitchen table the snow falling in the backyard.

What makes this property unique

The town of Tecumseh has many unique shops and there are great bars and restaurants as well. The Michigan International Speedway is 20 minutes away, Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan, including the stadium, is 25 minutes away. Wampler Lake and many other lakes are about 20 minutes away as well.
