Water Issues

The cabin was nice and location was pretty and quiet. However, we had to contact owner to get information to get through security gate since they had nothing. We also were given the wrong code to the door of the cabin so had to message again to get that. Check in information definitely needs to be updated with Vrbo. The cleaning crew needs to be a little more attentive. The biggest issue was having no water our second day and then the next day the pressure wasn’t great. The owner did communicate very well with us and Jack the maintenance man was very helpful and nice. The owner got us each a room that night so that was really nice. They were trying to put us in another cabin in the resort but none were available. Then the washer wasn’t working so we had to go to a laundromat.

Vacation

The cabin was nice. Didn’t care to much how the bathrooms were laid out. There in each bedroom so someone was always in and out of our room. So not to much privacy especially if u have a big group. The location of the cabin is nice, view wise but the drive to get there wasn’t so fun. If I knew it was that steep and the roads were so small and y on the edge of hills I would have chooses a different cabin. Overall the cabin is nice

Family Spring Break

Nice, quiet location near the top of the mountain. Bit of a drive through some steep hairpin turns to get to the top. Cell service in and out so download your GPS map ahead of time and print the security pass because I had no service at the guard shack to pull it up. Cabin was clean, few minor things needed repair that I expressed to the owner. Jets in indoor jacuzzi tub aren't working which was a bit of a disappointment. Overall a nice stay.

Disappointing

House was beautiful but very poorly equipped and maintained. Kitchen was lacking so many essentials - steak knives, hot pads, knives for place settings. Bathrooms liquid soap containers were empty, jacuzzi jets did not work TV was difficult to operate and there were no adequate directions. We were very disapointed in the property.

Fun visit

My family spent five nights here and really enjoyed the cabin and the amenities. The jacuzzi was relaxing, The pool table was a hit. FYI, The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom does not have working jets. WiFi worked great, cabin was AC and was cool. I personally was hoping to see a bear and was excited to see a little bear visit the front door. We were not far from pigeon forge, once you got out of the resort about 10 mins away. The roads up to the cabin are narrow, steep and twisty turny so I let my husband do all the driving. We played pickleball, basketball and swam in the pool. We also played frisbee golf, cornhole and connect four as well which is all close to the pool area. Plenty to do. Host was helpful and responded quickly. We were really happy with our stay!

Not as expected.

There were a few issues up front with this cabin. First being there is a mouse…. Maybe a few, but definitely saw mice a couple times. When we pulled out the storage drawers under the bunk beds they were mouse droppings and chewed cloth and insulation, the start of a mouse nest. The owners obviously were aware there was an issue as there was a mouse trap behind the toilet. Up front disclosure would have been nice… also, we were heavily looking forward to the games and fun in this cabin. We were told upon booking that there was a dart board, pool table, and air hockey. The dart board is completely unusable with most of the darts being broken or bent, the air hockey table has apparently been removed, and the pool table cues were missing tips. Definitely a letdown. When we unfolded the sofa bed the mattress was covered in chip crumbs and debris. One dining chair is broken and extremely uncomfortable to use, one bar chair is also broken. The chairs are also in need of a thorough cleaning. And one rocker on the porch is broken as well. This cabin was lovely, but definitely has the feel of being let go in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. I will say the beds were comfortable, the dishes were clean, and management was very helpful when the electric went out due to storm. Overall tho I think we may look elsewhere if we return.
