2nd Stay - Always A Great Time
This was our 2nd stay in this condo. The owner is very engaged and responsive. This year we had a slight hiccup (no fault of the owner), and she resolved it quickly. She also communicated with us regarding Hurricane Helene’s status, and let us know the property protocols. We will absolutely book this condo again in the future!

Overdue for a Remodel
As a frequent renter at Tropic Winds for many years, I regret to say that this unit has been the most disappointing one I’ve stayed in. While housekeeping issues can be easily addressed, and the property manager did offer to send the cleaning crew back, I opted to handle the situation myself. I found stained dish rags, towels, hair on bathroom floors, drink rings on end tables, and sticky spots on the kitchen counters. Me re-cleaning the unit to my standards was my choice. However, the larger concerns relate to the overall condition and quality of the unit. While the listing photos are accurate, they don't capture the full reality. The sofa, for example, is quite small — I'm 6' tall, and about 18 inches of my legs hung off the lounge end. The table lamps shown in the photos were stored in the closet, and the lights under the microwave and inside the refrigerator were non-functional. The baseboards in both bathrooms had noticeable debris and rust stains, and drywall patches in the living room were left unpainted. In the bathrooms, previous shower rod mounts were sloppily patched. The bed linens were of poor quality. The mattresses lacked mattress pads, exposing stains from previous guests when we stripped the sheets at checkout. The primary bedroom has only 1 tiny night stand. I didn’t sense pride of ownership in this unit. As someone who owns vacation rentals myself, I would be uncomfortable renting a home in this condition. A remodel and refresh are overdue.

The condo was dirty. Dust bunnies all over the condo. Furniture was uncomfortably. There was hair and mold in the shower. Bath rugs were dirty. Sand and hair was throughout the condo. Finger prints all over the glass doors. Urine stains on the bed. A hole on the floor in the kitchen. Oven was disgusting. No one wiped it down.

Nice but couch too small
The couch was too small. It is listed as a sleeper sofa and will only fit one adult. It is small and uncomfortable to sit on. The sheets on the bed do not feel soft and the pillows were not comfy so bring your own. Other than that great stay.

USFA World Series softball
Overall it was great we spent most of our time either at the beach or softball field. Love the fact that their were chairs already reserved at the beach . We did hit the pool once. The hot tub was another favorite spot for grandpa!

Pros: good communication with owner. Comfortable bedding. Close shopping/restaurants. Very nice extra beach chairs. Great water pressure. Beautiful beach front. Cons: couch is very uncomfortable, simply feels like a brick. Looks very nice though. The daybed is dingy and moldy. Pics just have been from when first purchased. Both sliding doors were hard to open and also had a lot of mold. Upon arrival there was so much sand on every floor surface I had to spend a long time sweeping it up. The sliding doors also had lots of smudges. Giving the uneasy impression of the entire condo possibly not being clean. Beach chair service was not as professional as other places I’ve stayed. The pool bottom was extremely rough and smaller than I thought. The parking lot was also rather annoying. We were on the 4th floor and the levels are a bit tight and hard to move through. All of this is not being nit picky but more to help others have better/accurate detail. I had a wonderful time and none of these things were super horrible but also made the condo overpriced in my opinion and compared with other places I’ve stayed. If it were 1000 less I’d not have been surprised by these few things.

Location was nice. The parking garage was a little scary with our Yukon XL with a cargo carrier on the back. We needed a much smaller vehicle. Weather was amazing!

Condo on the Beach
We had a great time, beautiful sunsets and wonderful view. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings having our coffee while watching the waves and listening to the ocean. Will definitely go back!

Very nice location
The unit was very clean and the view was spectacular. Although the beds were very comfortable, the other furnishings seemed a bit cheaper and uncomfortable (sofa, table, bedroom furniture). The kitchen was well equipped and the patio furniture was comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and it was well worth the money.

A great location where everyone on the property is more than friendly and great food options close by. Property host was very prompt when needed assistance. Walking up to the waves and fresh air all while catching a great sunset too! You can’t go wrong staying here.

Large Condo on the Beach
Nice large condo, very clean (except for ceiling fans), right on the ocean - 17 floors up. Extra large balcony was great if you don't mind heights. Parking is on levels 1-4 and is extremely tight. Beds were comfortable, wish the master had a mattress pad, sheets and towels were just OK. Nice full size washer & dryer, no light in the refrigerator. Worst thing is the living room furniture is very uncomfortable and very small. Not good for two people let along four. Location is away from the action. Nothing except one bar/restaurant to walk to.

Home away from home
This is our second time at this particular unit. We had such a good time last year, we could not wait to get back for another trip. It will be at the top of our list for future vacations. The updates and sprucing up of the unit made things even more enjoyable. This is a large unit with all the comforts of home with a great view from the balcony. The weather was not cooperating so we took advantage of the heated indoor pool for those days and enjoyed the local restaurants and attractions. The beds are very comfortable and large. It is truly a home away from home. The owner is very easy to contact and responds very quickly. I highly recommend this destination to anyone and have done so to many of my friends and family. It did not disappoint. It was a great vacation!

Very nice place to stay
The property was really nice place. Only thing i got to complain on was i wish we didnt have a storm coming in the week we went. Other then the storm i would definitely enjoy booking here again. I gave a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 because of the sand on the floor. Its exceptable because we were right on the beach and it so hard keeping sand out even after we swept every other day. Overall i give a 6 out of a 5 rating. Oh also your bed was so nice and comfortable. Usually the beds in at least hotels are hard and uncomfortable. Very nice place. P.s. THANK YOU FOR SUCH A NICE PLACE AND STAY.

Great condo
This condo was great. It was clean and spacious. Everything looked just like the pictures showed. The view from the balcony was spectacular! We saw dolphins and stingrays almost daily! The host was very responsive if I messaged her. The location is about a 8 minute drive to the pier. It wasn’t in the heart of Panama City beach but we were totally fine with that. We don’t like big crowds so it worked perfect for us. You are literally steps from the beach. It was such a great week for my family. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 5th year in Panama and by far this was our best stay. Everything from the description to the owner was spot on. The views especially from the balcony and the less crowded location made this the perfect rental. The owner was very responsive to any thing needed and kept in contact before arrival and after departure with all needed information. We felt welcomed and had everything we needed in the condo including 2 free chair rentals on the beach along with 4 other beach chairs provided in the condo for our use. We will definitely stay agin and make this our yearly vacation rental destination. Don’t pass on this one you will regret it!
