Not a good spot for winter stay

The cabin is located in a very scenic area and has nice views. I am sure it is very nice in the summer, but a real problem in winter. The cabin is 9 miles off highway on winding muddy, snowy, icy largely unkempt road. Huge storm was blowing in on last night, so I left early. Property owner refused to refund for last night. No way it would have been possible to safely exit the property after the storm. Also, it should be noted no TV, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no microwave, no oven, no central air/heat, and very poorly equipped kitchen. I am sure this can be gleaned from the listing, but this summary may help.

Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous, family-owned guest ranch in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. Our ranch is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and is nestled in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area features hiking trails, waterfalls, and historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch. We have a private hiking trail that leads to our “kissing swing” overlooking the headwaters of the Colorado River Valley.
