About this property

Stunning lake/mountain views, adjoining cabin, pet friendly, near Lake Granby!

"This was our first trip to AVR and we will definitely be back. We rented a cabin for the week and it came with everything we needed. The ranch is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake, river and mountains. We were able to canoe, mountain bike, hike and paddle board right on the property. The historic lodge is a fun place to hang out in the evenings and we had the added bonus of a music festival while we were there. This is a great place for all ages. We will be back!" Perfect for family getaway

This property had stunning views, was well stocked, had spacious open areas to gather, and private areas to relax. The host was quick to respond to questions, and we throughly enjoyed our time. Remote location which appealed to our family. Highly recommend and would come back

Not what was advertised

I have contacted the manager/owner but here you go: 1.Many of the windows did not open 2.Many of the windows did not have screens, we could not enjoy the mountain cool nights. 3. The AV system did not work, remotes did not have batteries. No move night for the kids 4. Dirty dishes in dishwasher, wet laundry in washer. 5. Biggest issue, look at the picture of the house on VRBO, five outdoor tables, cushions on furniture. There were no tables, no cushions. We could not eat outside, we could not host a dinner party. I have rented from VRBO in the past 8 years and spent more than $30K, This was the worst experience, the kitchen and remodel baths were great. The window in the cabin bath did not have a blind for privacy. We spent more than $8000 we feel that we were mislead and deceived on the quality usability of the property. We have many pictures if you would like to see them. Its wrong that this property is being rented in this condition.

Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous, family-owned guest ranch in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. Our ranch is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and is nestled in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area features hiking trails, waterfalls, and historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch. We have a private hiking trail that leads to our “kissing swing” overlooking the headwaters of the Colorado River Valley.
