The space
The Regal Beagle is located in City Terrace, 6 minutes East of Downtown LA, nestled in a hillside community near Cal State LA with breathtaking views of downtown skyline, Dodger Stadium, the Hollywood sign & the San Gabriel Mountains.

Welcome to The Regal Beagle - the ground floor studio (approximately 700 square feet) of our 1930's Spanish Villa. Our home is 4 stories tall. The bottom floor is is a fulltime Airbnb.

Expect to spread out, get comfortable & find our home stocked with everything you will need for your visit. We have 3 mature Avocado trees & a lime tree onsite. Feel free to pick fruit during your stay.

Guest Suite is totally private with a private locked entrance. Sound does travel - there is a family with young kids that live upstairs. The interior spaces are not shared. The exterior areas are shared.

One of the best things about Southern California is leaving the doors/windows open & enjoying the incredible weather. Front & side patios blend indoor & outdoor living flawlessly. Enjoy our large wildlife bird colony, especially Humming Birds.

Floors: Hardwood, tile & cement floors throughout with area rugs.

You will be blown away by the beauty of the sunsets over the downtown skyline. Drink your coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night relaxing on the large sun patio. The entire property is gated & secure.

If you have a car there is a garage parking spot reserved for you + unrestricted street parking (this is very rare in LA - free parking!!!). Our home is located very near the ten, six-zero-five, seven-ten, one-oh-one and five freeways.

Families - you will love the quiet neighborhood, park with gigantic playground & splash pad (5 blocks), library (1 block) away.

Available for filming year round even when the cal is blocked - inquire about our commercial rates.
Guest access
We are 6-8 minutes from Union Station Downtown. Best way to arrive from LAX without a car is the "Flyaway" bus to Union Station. From there you can take a cheep rideshare or the 910 or 960 bus straight to Cal State LA - that will get you about 3/4 mile to our front door. Rideshare is plentiful & easy. The closest metro stop is Soto St.

Parking is free street parking, no permits, no meters. Please read & follow all parking signs.
Other things to note
All outside spaces are shared with our family. Please feel free to come up the stairs on the side of the house & use the spaces to the right of the house - going up the hill. Including the trampoline, lemon tree & crows nest - which is a great spot with a cafe table & 4 chairs for outside dining, coffee, tea or cocktails.
