About this property

The perfect "Up North" get-away

Welcome to our Waterfront Dream Home. We have poured our heart and soul into building an amazing place for families to enjoy. You know you are "up north" when you open the doors to wide open space, full of light, views of the lake, wildlife and nature. Once inside, you are met with the family gathering room and dining area and kitchen with island. The hand made maple floors and custom barnwood ceiling give way a wall of windows overlooking the 405 acre Big Bearskin Lake. A 600 sq.ft. elevated deck is all set up with a Blackstone Griddle and RECTEC pellet grill. Two full bedrooms with King beds round out the first floor.

The lower level has heated floors in all rooms. The custom 4 place bunk bed hand made by "Papa" is a huge hit with the kids! They will also enjoy the game area, set up with some classic arcade games, including Goden Tee and an original Gottlieb pinball machine, sitting area, smart TV and beverage cooler.

Lake Summers are the real attraction, but don't overlook the winter. The recreational opportunities in the winter are endless. We are located less than a quarter mile to the Bearskin Recreational Trail, which is a snowmobile trail in the winter and a walking/biking trail in the summer. To the north is a historic building, a bridge with history placards for viewing.
Big Bearskin Lake is an amazing fishery for summer or ice fishing; with Walleye, Perch, Bass, Bluegill and Musky. Big Bearskin Lake is a full recreational lake, which is pretty quiet most of the year, so you'll get smooth water for your enjoyment.

If visiting for the summer, you will have use of a canoe, and kayaks. Also feel free to bring your boat and dock right at the property.

**due to new rules and policies for Oneida county we are required to have a minimum 6 day stays. We will adjust our rates accordingly to accommodate.

Family Getaway

Beautiful cabin on a fairly quiet lake. Great for relaxing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boating. Saw the most amazing eagle fly around us while fishing off the pier. Great place for a family getaway.
