The house is great and property is beautiful! The boat dock is a great place to gather and do some fishing and the back porch is perfect for that early morning cup of coffee.
My family and I stayed at this beautiful home during a family birthday weekend. The home was perfectly appointed with a wonderful kitchen and comfortable den. The beds were very comfortable and the overall cleanliness was top notch. I would recommend this listing to anyone staying Mobile.
Very peaceful and relaxing vacation on Dog River. Excellent floor plan for my family, comfy beds and accommodations. Great fishing and awesome wildlife scenery. The cooling river breeze, while sitting on the dock, made the "Gulf Coast's hot and humid" July comfortable during our visit. We spent many hours on the dock eating lunch and dinner. We will definitely stay here during our next trip to Mobile.
Best advice… Arrive before nightfall. It’s very dark when you don’t know where you’re going. This cottage is gorgeous. So homey and charming. We had the best time. Perfect little getaway. The property is beautiful. We went down and sat by the water.
This property is fantastic...we were in Mobile for a late Christmas with family. We normally stay downtown at the Battle House hotel but decided to try a house on the water so our kids could run around, this property did not disappoint! Our kids spent most of their time outside running around the yard and my wife and I were able to relax by the fire and sit on the porch enjoying the view of the marina. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed for our stay! We will certainly be back in the future!
My husbands family is from Mobile and all of his siblings came home for Mardi Gras this year. His parents’ house was short some beds so several siblings rented this house together and OH MAN did it exceed our expectations! Incredible property and a fully stocked home- had everything you would need or want. We absolutely plan to rent again in the future. Owners were on top of everything and so gracious. Thank you for the great weekend!
Our family of 4 stayed at this perfect cottage for Spring Break! What a hidden gem I am so glad I found! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The view is breathtaking. We were able to catch some amazing sunsets on the pier. The large yard was ideal for our 5 year old little boy to run around and play.
I highly recommend taking the very short drive to eat at the Grand Mariner. Great seafood and the sweetest staff.
The owner was extremely gracious and helpful with everything. I think we have found our new favorite spot. We’ll definitely be back!
