We booked our stay simply because we love the show one tree hill and wanted to see some of the filming locations. The location was the perfect place right in the heart of the downtown filming location and minutes away from the shops and riverwalk. It was perfect we left the car parked and just walked around the area. The loft was amazing! We could hear the live music from the different restaurants and bars around us and that was something we really enjoyed. The loft was very clean and spacious. There was 5 of us and it didn’t feel like we were crowded in a space. we would definitely stay here again it was just perfect for us.
Our apartment was awesome everything that it said it would be and more. My husband and 2 sisters stayed and loved it. The best part our other sister and family had the apartment below us. So easy to walk everywhere didn't have to move the vehicle all weekend. I highly recommend stay here. Thank you!
If you are looking for central downtown Wilmington, you can't get any closer. We had read the previous reviews and were aware it would be noisy so thats something to note if you are sensitive to that. The host has white noise machines for both bedrooms and you'll definitely need them on weekends (there is a bar in the alley along with the ones right on the main strip and the trash truck came at 4am each morning too).
Regardless we had a good time, the apartment is spacious with great light and remained cool even on very hot days. The parking pass was key for beach trips but you can walk or take the trolley anywhere since you're in the middle of it all. We did wish the mattress in the main bedroom fit the frame, the extra feet of space hanging off the slats was dangerous. The fridge worked well and we appreciated the Brita filter that was provided. Wilmington and this apt. are supet dog friendly too which was a bonus. Perfect for a fun weekend.
Great location, could use some attention to details
Great location in downtown, easy to walk around the shops and restaurants. The apartment is huge and spacious. There is no where to hang bathroom towels in the master and the towel holder in second bathroom really doesn’t work. The second bathroom shower curtain had a strange cloth broken cord wrapped around it which made the curtain difficult to use. Parking is not available at the unit. Parking pass for garage is an additional daily cost. It is worth it because public parking is very expensive. The refrigerator did not work, so we had no way to store leftovers or have cold drinks at the room.

Not for Families - Constructive Criticism and Suggestions
I rented this property for one night. I had a family photo shoot with a company in the same location and thought the place looked cute and oved the exposed brick.
BUT, we arrived about 5:00, check in is 4 or after and found that the apartment had not been cleaned. Called the property manger directly and she was VERY responsive and had someone over within 30-45 minutes and offered concessions on the cleaning fee and rental fee.
This is the perfect apartment for a younger group that wants to enjoy the downtown nightlife. You enter the apartment from an alley way that also houses 2 different bars/clubs. The furnishings are not the best but for the younger people that would tend to stay out and about, this should not be an issue.
I would suggest getting mattresses that actually fit the bed frames. I also would suggest a larger TV, especially since it's the only one in the apartment. Granted, the type of people that should rent this apartment may not care.
Anyone with young children, this apartment would not suit you.
Again, Sarah the owner & property manager answered her phone right away and took care of the situation.
Personally, I'm at a point where I would not stay there again BUT for the younger crowd this is an awesome location and has plenty of potential.
Had and amazing stay at this location after a motorcycle trip down the Outer Banks.
The property was very spacious and clean, and the location was a close walk to many restaurants/bars
