My condo is a small, calming home in a wonderful neighborhood. The building was built in 1963, but I did a full-gut renovation on my unit. I've designed the entire thing and thought about every little detail to make the most use of the space.
My unit overlooks a quirky, very-Austin outdoor bar/italian food truck/theater. On the other side, the unit overlooks the large building pool; which has a deep end!
**The building is quiet and safe; however (disclaimer), it is old and the upkeep in the common areas are not up to my standards.** I hang out inside my condo, or I'm out and about around the city.
The building has it's own non-gated parking areas which require a parking pass (which I'll leave for you).
The Cherrywood neighborhood of East Austin is wonderful- so many amazing food and drink options in walking distance. 1 mile from the new Moody Center and 1 mile to the MLK Light Rail station (15 min walk). University of Texas campus is biking distance away.
Even with the bars being so close, it's a quiet area and very quiet condo.
The bedroom has a Queen Sleep Number bed, which allows you to customize your firmness on each side. There's also a desk for working (and 2 wifi access points in the unit).
The living room has a large L couch (can fit an adult laying down) as well as a 30 inch TV with an Apple TV attached.
The bathroom has a dual head shower and a bidet.
