Reno'd Home in West Annapolis: Great for Stadium Events, Boat Shows & Downtown
West Annapolis is a neighborhood close to everything, but with peace and quiet in mind. Shopping and food options are conveniently located in the neighborhood and access to all that Annapolis has to offer is at your fingertips.
Convenience is key at the Giddings House, which is a 9 minute (0.4 mi) walk to Gate 8 at the Naval Academy or an 11 minute (0.6 mi) walk to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium where you can enjoy Navy Football games or other stadium events easily without having to worry about parking. If walking downtown (approx. 1.5 mi) isn't an option , shuttles to downtown Annapolis events, such as the Sailboat or Powerboat shows, often pick up from the Stadium as well.
About the House:
This airy, 3500 sq foot, was renovated from top to bottom in 2021. Brand new Wolf/SubZero appliances, hardwood floors, and fixtures. It has an open floor plan and great back yard space. It includes a deck with ample seating and grill which makes for a lovely spot for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.
About the Location:
The home is situated in the beautiful walking neighborhood of West Annapolis with water access points and community beaches. The neighborhood has plenty to do within walking distance including a variety of antique shops as well as clothing and gift boutiques. There are two restaurants in the neighborhood (3 blocks from the home), offering comfort food (https://www.evelynsannapolis.com/) or high end dining (http://flamantmd.com/). Enjoy coffee at Bean Rush Cafe or homemade ice cream at Always Ice Cream, also just a few blocks away from the home.
Or you can venture about 1.5 miles to downtown Annapolis to enjoy everything the town has to offer. We have walked downtown many times, but if walking is not an option it is a fast drive or Uber to the downtown attractions.
