A beautiful location. We enjoyed the country. However, the house needs to have a little TLC. The beds and linens need upgrading. The towels in the bathrooms need replacing. We would have liked some directions for rebooting the TV as well. Giving this beautiful little house some love and up grades would make it a perfect country getaway.
The property is surrounded by almond orchards and horse property. It makes for a peaceful relaxing stay. We had our dogs with us, so walks we enjoyable. Our family left happy.
My family and I had the best time at this beautiful home. It was centrally located, check in was easy and the property is stunning. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Sue!
We loved the location and the fence yard for our dog. The house needs to be clean Bette, it has a great patio but it seems like it hasn’t been clean in a very long time. When we got their we were not able to view any tv dish network was not working,, contacted the owner she was very helpful and fixed the issue by the next Day, even Ofer to give us a discount for the inconvenience, but I never received anything.
Our family stayed here to avoid the craziness of Davis during graduation time. It was an excellent pick. Even though it is remote, it's a quick 10–15-minute drive to downtown and the University. Sue (Owner) was very responsive to our requests and questions and we can highly recommend this place.
We stayed here for an event at UC Davis, and loved the quiet and private home on the ranch. Very comfortable, easy access to Davis and Woodland, we loved the chickens and getting a tour of the horse facilities. Would definitely stay here again.
My family of 4 had a very comfortable stay here while visiting family in Davis. Appreciated the super easy check in and out. House has everything that is needed. Enjoyed the farm setting, and the lovely weather while we were there!
We loved staying on your farm, especially the chickens that wandered into our yard. Horses, hawks and jackrabbits rounded out the experience. We were there for a wedding, and this was so much better than staying in town. The driveway goes along the orchards and is longer than the website shows - perfect for us. Thx so much, Julie
We were in Davis for our daughter's graduation and needed a place with room for the family. This worked out great, plenty of room for 5 of us, everything we needed, and close enough to town to be convenient but nice and quiet.
Lovely place out in the country yet only 15 minutes to downtown Davis. We were in Davis for my granddaughter’s Bat Mitzvah and wanted a place for family. Property is great. The photos don’t do it justice. . Perfect place for families.
We needed a place to stay while our floors were being redone and this house was exactly as promised. Cute, rustic, clean and in a beautiful secluded area with a horse barn nearby. They allowed our dogs to stay with us which was a huge help. The owners were responsive to our questions and it was exactly what was shown in the pictures and description. Gotta love it when a place lives up to its hype.
This was the perfect house for my family to stay in while attending picnic day at UC Davis. It was a 10 minute drive into town for all the Days events and then have a peaceful, quiet home to return to and get a good nights sleep. It had everything we needed and we were definitely stay here again!
We arrived a day earlier than expected, and the owner made sure the property would be clean and ready for our early arrival. She worked with us and communicated frequently about our early arrival and stay.
The house is large (two bedrooms, two full baths), and in a great location (about 4 miles from Davis, CA nestled in orchards). It is very quiet and restful. We would love to stay there again on our next Davis visit!
We stayed on the ranch for several days with our two dogs while attending a dog show about 45 minutes away. It was so peaceful in the country, and nice to get away after long days. We found the fenced yard very useful for the dogs, and enjoyed walks along the road to the house. Lovely property.
This provided the perfect solution we were looking for (i.e. a rural location with great access to multiple cities). We enjoyed seeing the horses and orchards, and the space was cozy and accommodating.
A really great experience. I was here before when a friend rented the place and just enjoyed all the entire time we were there. Unique combination of horses and almond orchards.
We wanted a place near Davis where our son and his family (of 4 with two babies) live. We also wanted a place where we could host dinner and relax. This was a perfect place for us. During our stay, temperatures soared into the 100s in the afternoons, but the cooling unit kept it comfortable inside. In the mornings we had coffee and breakfast on the deck. We enjoyed late evenings on the deck too.

Nice property
Although had trouble with a few things, the location was perfect for our 2 small dogs. Difficult reaching Sue to resolve a toilet issue. Fresh farm eggs and peaches from her tree were great!
