My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The river views, living areas, kitchen and bedrooms were all exceptional. Joseph provided excellent instructions and check-in/departure was easy and flexible. We hope to stay here again!
We had a great Thanksgiving with our family at Roaring Fork. We enjoyed the river, hot tub and fireplace. We comfortably slept 8 people and had fun family game night. It’s conveniently located right off the highway so it was an easy drive to hot springs and skiing.
Lovely home on the Roaring Fork River. Fully stocked kitchen, ample linens, towels, blankets etc. Lots of wildlife to observe. Really enjoyed our stay.
This house is wonderful. It is right on the roaring fork river with spectacular views. We spent Christmas week. The owner had even decorated for Christmas. Very spacious and well appointed. We will be back.
My husband and I loved this property so much we are planning a return visit next year. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing views of nature and the peacefulness it brought us. The owner was GREAT and responded promptly. The fishing was AMAZING!
We had a great time and really enjoyed the spacious kitchen, living room, and screened in porch. Feeling grateful for finding such a welcoming place to stay.
We were there for a girls soccer tournament, but so happy we rented the house! It was a beautiful location with excellent fishing and cycling close by. We plan on going again ;)
We are the French Freeski National Team. We came in this houss for 2 weeks to participate at World Freeski Championship in Aspen on March 2021. Everything was great, clean and restful... The River view is amazing. The jacuzzi too hot ( I joke... perfect). Don't bring Towels, I think there are like 100 available :). Very big TV, Kitchen facilities enormous... WE ENJOYED, WE WILL BE BACK... THANKS !!!!!!!
We were delighted with our stay at the El Jebel property. My husband and I needed a safe and relaxing get-away for a few days in October and this place met our every need, and more! Everything was exactly as described, only even better - in a way that cannot be accurately conveyed in writing - there is a special feeling to this place that absolutely captured our hearts, and it is obvious that the owners love their special family home. We felt like we were staying with good friends, even though we never met, and we were delighted that they were willing to share such a wonderful place with us!
The property is beautifully furnished with everything any family could need for a fabulous stay, and it is spacious and accommodating for a large family. The prime location is an added bonus - away from any hustle and bustle, but so very close to everything. The very private and gated property sits right on the riverbank, with access to the river, and the views are beyond spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking wine and soaking up the sun and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day out exploring Aspen and surrounding areas. All the bedrooms were large, beautifully appointed, comfortable beds and an amazing master bath, there are 2 enormous and comfortable living spaces making it perfect for a big family or group needing to spread out. The cooks kitchen has everything you could ever need and was sparkling clean.
Our only regret was that we ever had to leave, but we will for sure come back again, soon I hope, and next time with our whole family!
Our family (2 Adults, 3 Kids age 3-8 & 2 Grandparents) stayed at this home over labor day weekend and loved it! The home is very comfortable and family friendly. There was plenty of space to relax both inside and outside. We went fishing every day and in the hot tub every night to watch the sunset. The home is about 25 minutes to Aspen which allowed us to go to town for ice cream and to play at the park. We loved our weekend and the river views were stunning! We can't wait to return.
Beautiful, relaxing setting. Would never guess you’re 5 minutes from Basalt and Carbondale when sitting on the deck looking at the river. Joe and Theresa are amazing hosts; caring, responsive, and deeply knowledge about the roaring fork valley. Thank you!!!
This is a unique and beautiful spot in the Valley. If you love views, wildlife watching, fishing and any other outdoor activity you will not find a better spot than this. (and the house is also very nice :)
Very beautiful CO setting but still easy to reach civilization. It was hard to leave!

Perfect!
This is a great location with a great view and access to the river. The house in wonderful condition and stocked very well. We caught fish right in front of the house, and most mornings included a visit from several deer in the yard. I have been in the Roaring Fork area many times for vacation and this is definitely our favorite place to stay. You will not be disappointed here.

Wonderful house right on the beautiful Roaring Fork River
We recently stayed at this beautiful house for a week. The house has a wonderful deck that allows you to see the river and the lawn and gardens are very inviting. The inside of the house is decorated nicely and has every appliance needed. The master bedroom and newly updated bathroom are very nicely done. This house on the river has fishing adjacent to the property, golf and biking are nearby. Further, the house is located within a mile or two to upscale shopping, including a Whole Foods. If you want to stay next to the river, this house has it all.
