On the Beach | Gulf Views

Welcome to the perfect beach home for your family. Fun Home is a spacious, beautifully decorated Gulf-front home that offers a warm Florida welcome to the vacationing family. The TLC of its owners is apparent in the furnishings and décor, and there is plenty of room for family fun and entertainment. You're going to love being able to walk right out the back door and head to the beach.

The main house offers the lovely beachfront view in both the great room and the colorful master bedroom. There is a second bedroom that is spacious and comfortable. The third bedroom and bath offer privacy in the adjoining cottage, but it is only steps away from the main house. This separate cottage includes a breakfast bar, dishwasher, microwave, cable TV, DVD and a stack washer and dryer.

* Guests must be 25 years or older to rent. Those under 25 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
* Parking for 4 cars (strictly enforced).

An initial starter kit of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in a row staying at The Fun House. We had a few challenges but Benchmark Management immediately took care of them. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Fun House and we plan on staying there every summer. Perfect location!! Beach vibes galore🌴 We are already planning and looking forwards to our stay next summer.

Beach BUST! Benchmark Management is TERRIBLE
Arrived SAT, house is old & in need of some updates but ok for our stay. By SAT night major issues- bugs in bedroom- along crown molding, walls, and in the beds. 100 or more! Called MGMT co 3x (guest services claim was filed & exterminator called) NEVER saw an exterminator! Fumigated room ourselves for TWO days- slept on couches. Had to buy new bedding. On MON the MGMT co sent sheets- no comforters. Still no exterminator & no follow up from MGMT co. MON/TUE it rained & drain in the driveway is clogged- had to walk thru 6” of water to get to cars & water backed up against front door. On FRI MAJOR plumbing issues in the master bathroom. When the toilet was flushed water, feces, sand & other debris began to bubble up in the tub. The MGMT co called again. They sent a maintenance guy who didn’t resolve issue & called a plumber. He took the toilet out & worked on the drain in the tub. Globs of hair & impacted debris pulled out- did not resolve the issue- bath was CLOSED for use by the plumber. Said lines were impacted . MGMT co sent new towels- ours were used to sop up the sewage spilling out in bathroom. We had to “shower” outside with the water hose. Still NO response from MGMT co! We need a REFUND! Have been told I need to “please allow some time for an update”. 8 days & still waiting, MGMT co called 8x, texts & multiple pics sent to them. No response, No promise to refund. Total disaster. REFUND US! How long till you respond??? Ask me for pics/proof. It will gross you out!

Beautiful location, world-class view of the beach; however, there’s a lot of problems. The 3rd bedroom is separate from the house & the room smelled of mildew and urine, so it was unusable. We tried using some of the towels from the room and they smelled of mildew. Our 24 yr old son had to sleep on the couch the entire week. The management company offered to try to alleviate the smell, but we have family members who are allergic to mildew. Upon checkin, there were six of us and only two rolls of cheap toilet paper; we had to go out the next morning and get toilet paper, no Kleenex available. The toilets in both of the main house bathrooms smell like gas station bathrooms/old urine smells. They need Clorox. There are urine stains on the underside of the bathmats. The shower curtain liners are old and smell sour. Paint is falling off the bathroom doors. The couches are either 1980s or 1990s and have been handstitched back together. All of the decor looks like it’s from 1990s. Backs of the curtains in living room are disintegrating. The floors are extremely dirty and need to be professionally, steamed. The grout in the bathrooms are very dirty. Old patio furniture could easily be updated. There are holes in the walls/signs of water damage. 2 chairs are on the verge of breaking one is cracked and a hazard. The microwave in the kitchen makes a screaming noise, although it did work . The boxsprings are old. There are very few hangers in the closet .

This house was appalling. The water to the cottage house was turned off which meant my sister had to come inside in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and also use our shower. This was a situation that y'all were aware of but didn't let us know ahead of time. The black mold from the leak caused her eyes to swell up and she had to sleep on the couch. The smell was terrible. The dishwasher was broken the whole time so we had to hand wash everything and we cook every meal so it took a big chunk out of our time. How does a management company not have a plumber who works for them? This place hasn't been deep cleaned in forever. The couch was sewn back together. And it was obvious that we needed to wash all the dishes before using them. The previous renters have thrown up in the driveway and that was there to greet us when we pulled up. I messaged the management company to tell them of all of the problems but they just responded with "we'll just pass this along to the appropriate people"

Cool A/C, plenty of beds, and a wonderful back patio area kids will love playing in. Steps to the beach from the back door, you'll enjoy a relatively private area with fantastic sunset views. Bring your own towels and pillows for some extra comfort, but everything else was there. The house has seen its share of weather and is a little worn for wear, but all that doesn't matter when you look at the white sandy beaches — isn't that why you are here? =)

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being right on the beach is the best part of this rental. We paid $4000 for three days and we’re disappointed in the overall condition of the facility. Specifically, furniture was extremely old and worn out. Pots and pans are quite worn. One bedroom, “the captains quarters“ was extremely musty, and we could not use that room for one night until we had a chance to air it out. Overall, we had a good time and enjoy the beach front property.

Overall, this is a great place to stay! The property is right on the beach with a nice little path from the beach to the house off the back patio. This place is what I expected. It wasn’t perfect as far as being immaculate inside. You could tell it is a rental property on the beach. It was clean, the beds were so comfortable, kitchen was very functional and the chairs outside to lounge lay in and a picnic table. It was perfect for my family if 8. I would recommend bringing your own pots and pans but I find that to be the case at almost all the rentals I stay at. I would definitely stay at this beech house again.

The property was just as advertised. It's a great location on a quieter part of the beach, it's far enough down the beach you can be there during spring break and not have all the spring break craziness, but close enough if you want to get into that you can quickly. Place was clean, well furnished, and has it's own walk way right onto the beach. We had five adults staying on this trip and had more than enough room for everyone. Well priced and definitely would stay again.

If I ever go back to Panama, i will stay at this property. We loved the patio right on the beach. The rooms were spread out and fit us all perfect, the kitchen and seating were ample. It was so cute, the perfect little beach cottage!

Great location! Beach gets a little crowded from the public access on the weekends
Loved the house and location, plenty of room for 8 people. The in-law room was great also. The only things I would say that needs improvement is there definitely needs to be more than 3 bath towels in each bathroom. We had to wash at least every other day. And I was charged for a broken mirror that fell off the wall sometime before we got there. Of course we didn’t notice it because it was behind the bed and who looks there. Overall 9/10 will stay again

This was our second year staying here while visiting pcb, the house is exactly as described in the description . We love staying here for the easy access to the beach and also close to town. The house is great as well and is supplied well for your stay and we loved the updating that was done to the back area since our last visit. We'll be back next year to book with you.

Amazing Ocean Front Location
I loved that I could walk out the back doors and right onto the beach. I had younger children with me and it was perfect for us to go to the beach whenever and when they got cranky it was easy to get right back to the house. The water hose to rinse off any sand was also a big plus.

The best beach house
We had the best time staying at this beach house. The area was perfect, not too crowded. The property manager was so nice and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Go somewhere else! Not worth what they charge!
Upon check in we had so many issues hard to list them all. First, the refrigerator was literally Warm. They responded 24 hrs later and did something and it started working. 2- lights above the bar seating flickered off and on where you couldn't use them. 3- outdoor garbage cans were full for 3 days while there and had no where to store trash. 4-master bath shower leaked inside the room and oitside the room around the house while shower was in use. They attempted to fix bit caused more issues due to the sewer gas venting through the shower drain into the house. 5- hair was everywhere on beds and pillows. 6- appears no deep cleaning is ever done due to major dirt around windows, doors, tubs counters etc 7- advertised BBQ pit but that thing wasn't even usable due to age and condition 8-only gave us towels for 4 people but supposed be enough for 10. 9- washer machine was NASTY DIRTY 10- DRYER was very small and had to dry 2x to get dry 11-kitchen supplies extremely dated. From 1970s . 12- no broom at the house for guests 13-master bed fell apart in middle of night 14-one of bedrooms were terribly hot and hard to sleep. 14- ac filter was extremely dirty therefore wasn't cooling properly (even notified them) 15- house as a whole is very outdated and old feeling. I would highly recommend going elsewhere. They didn't care of my issues even though I paid a TON money.
