About this property

Lakefront Cottage - sleeps 6 - 2 baths

Only 2.5 hours from Boston is your opportunity to stay in a charming lake cottage on Maranacook Lake. Escape to Maine with gorgeous lake views, swimming and dramatic sunsets. Located in a recessed area of the lake, Deerpine cottage offers both privacy and a quiet location with limited boat traffic. Swim, boat, relax, escape, play, camp, snowshoe, ski, cook, and make memories. The home includes 2 bedrooms + a sleeping attic, 2 full baths to sleep a maximum of 6 (1 queen, 1 full, 4 twins). Strict 6 person limit per stay (NO DAY VISITORS OR PARTIES).

Cottage is fully furnished: Kitchen with dishwasher, slow cooker, lobster pot, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and all cookware/dishes/utensils. Living room has large smart TV, high speed internet and comfortable seating. Large dining table in eat-in kitchen perfect for family dinners and game nights. There is a desk and fast, high speed Wi-Fi for remote workers.

Lake water is clear and great for swimming. Dock with ladder makes for easy access in and out. West facing means gorgeous sunsets every night.

Summers are like magic. Hear the call of the loons while making s'mores at the firepit. Waste the long days away fishing or swimming on beautiful, clear Maranacook lake.

But don't forget fall and winter!
The lake comes alive with color in the fall and the fair season begins. Apple picking orchards are close by. Winters are incredibly active with ice fishing, cross country, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. After a day in the snow, come back and cozy up by the wood pellet stove with a cup of hot cocoa.

Make it an annual tradition! A special place for making memories year round.

1 hour drive to Portland and Maine Coast.

Amazing escape!

Great size, very clean. The posted pictures do not do this camp justice! Lots of upgrades and Beth is very responsive. Beautiful cove with little traffic. Sounds of loons day and night. Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun.

Maranacook at it's best

This is a very clean and up to date home. Perfect for a family who enjoys peace, quiet and the lake. Located in a quiet part of the lake, this is your home away from home. Close to Winthrop for your needs but far enough away to allow quiet. Can't wait to plan another visit.
