Bird Bay Village is an established community located just off interstate 75 on the eastern edge of the quiet town of Venice. Our condo is a second family home and is a 2 story unit with a master bedroom and full bathroom and screened Lanai overlooking green space and a pond. The ground level has 1 bedroom and full bathroom and 2 bedrooms and full bathroom on the second floor. Within walking distance are 2 heated swimming pools, 8 tennis courts, pickle ball courts, an exercise room and a shopping mall with a grocery store. The Venice Jetty where all boats enter and leave the Venice area and Nokomis Beach are 5 minutes away. Our family spends much of our time reading books, watching the dolphins feed in the Jetty, and swimming in the gulf. Fishing enthusiasts use the local fishing pier or fish the surf available to the public.

Comfortable and Quiet

This condo is a comfortable, quiet and well-equipped home in a lovely setting. The living room and dining room had more than enough space and master bedroom is located on 1st floor. The owner was wonderful to work with. Bird Bay Village is great for golfing, walking or bike riding. Although a minor inconvenience, verify WiFi availability. Hope to return soon.

Love the west coast and the wonderful town of Venice. Our family has been coming here for fifty years.

What makes this property unique

The 2 story unit is nice for separate families sharing the same quarters. It is a second generation unit now used as a second home, and to be shared as such. There are two ponds within view on the golf course and sandhill cranes often visit the area. The entrance to the popular Legacy Trail is within walking distance, a walking and biking trail which goes all the way to Sarasota. Venice has numerous excellent, moderately priced restaurants, a unique shopping street with small, owner operated shops and long sandy beaches open to the public.
