About this property
Panoramic Ocean View Tea House- It's Back!
This Japanese style pole house, built in 2006, overlooks the Pacific ocean. The panoramic views are like looking over the edge of the continent. An open air, intimate year-round hot tub is available, and on some nights one can see the Milky Way while tubbing.
We play Bocce ball in the afternoons with the ocean as our backdrop. A grill is ready for your steaks and peaches. Long walks and Sunsets abound.
Timber Cove is 14 miles north of Jenner, though our town is technically called Jenner.
The space
The Tea House is a unique "small house", with soaring, combed ceilings, impressive beams, and poles that make the Tea House an architectural jewel. The theory of the small house is explored with artistic virtuosity. From a luxurious bathroom with views, to a tiny, very functional kitchen featuring a miniature dishwasher, under-counter refrigerator with ice maker, a microwave convection oven, gas BBQ, and very BIG Ocean views, this tiny home is unlike any other.
A glass-doored dining room with a desk for your use, allows for dining inside, or you can dine on the rock patio. There are views from every angle.
Expansive stone patios and a bocce ball court and hot tub with panoramic Ocean views, allows you to get in touch with nature immediately. Ocean, Forest, Meadow-all on one property for your enjoyment.
Due to Covid 19, preparation time to do all essential cleaning has increased. Therefore, we need to increase the minimum stay to 3 days, to counterbalance the deep cleaning that must occur for each stay.
Guest access
There is a key box code to access keys to the left of the front door. The one level Tea House is all yours to enjoy, and the outside grounds.
The basement is kept separate for storage. There is an additional art studio on site that is used periodically during the week, but the artist will not be interacting with guests and will not intrude on your privacy.
Other things to note
Timber Cove Resort is just a short walk down the street for fine dining, a well run bar, and the unique Bufano statue...really a stupendous walk and ocean views. Take in all the parks north & south of Timber Cove. You could spend your whole time exploring the beautiful, local parks.
There is beach access at Still Water Cove, the Boat Landing, and Stump Beach, and many small coves along the Hwy 1 Corridor.
