This was a neat place to stay. It was a small, yet, comfortable cabin. I would definitely be interested in returning for another stay. Tiger Jack was a home away from home.

The cabin looked and felt like a rustic cabin should. There was a view of the house next store with kind of took from the experience somewhat, but we got over it. It was clean and organized. The place was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, towel, blankets, etc. We didn't need anything that was there already. The air conditioner was a window unit that was rather loud and didn't reach the far end of the bedroom very well. We bought a small fan at Walmart to help circulate the cool air to the bedroom. Good thing our visit was in May rather than August. My wife is hot natured, and would've drove me crazier than I already am. The toilet clogged up the first time we flushed it. Conveniently, there was a plunger available for such situations. However, I couldn't plunge enough to free it up. I spoke to Charlie the manager the following morning and he sent someone over right away to deal with it. All and all, the visit went well and we enjoyed our stay.

Why they chose this property

The Tiger Jack cabin is located incredibly close to Beavers Bend State Park right off of highway 259-A and very close to all the attractions hochatown has to offer. This cabin has an amazing porch, area to cook out, enjoy a bonfire or star gaze from the private hot tub at night.
