It was nice and close to everything. That we wanted to see. The house was very comfortable for our family. Will definitely try to stay here again next year
The house is so cozy and clean! We loved the screened porch. We really enjoyed our stay here and Ellie was an excellent host, making sure everything went smoothly and we had everything we needed. So close to town with great shops and restaurants! I would stay here again

Nice Place - Needs some TLC
The house itself was fine - but we felt some things were not excellent.
The kitchen cabinets were beautiful, but very tall, and we did not find a stepstool to reach the higher shelves.
Having the washer and dryer with soap and softener was very convenient.
The master bath was open and one of the TVs was in the master bedroom, which was an issue if someone was using one or the other. The main bathroom had a door that latched but did not lock. There was one hair dryer for 2 bathrooms.
None of the bedroom doors latched, so obviously they did not lock.
The table and deck furniture were all bar height - (FYI)
The only air conditioner was in the living room & was not sufficient to cool the bedrooms even with the fans on and doors open.
The grill was dirty and did not work. We did message the owner asking about the grill but did not receive a reply.
The steps to the dock were overgrown with weeds and the dock was full of duck poop. The push broom in the garage works well for that. You must carry the kayaks to the lake, but they are enjoyable once you get them there.
Our info packet said towels must be washed/dried before checkout. It was a rush to try and get that done before 10. The housekeeper said that wasn't necessary, so that should be clarified.
The lake view is not one where you can sit and enjoy - It is visible over the neighbor's fence.
Loved the house and lake access! We came here for the USA Target cup. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to the fields. It was worth the drive we liked being away from the crowded fields and heard Elk River was a safe area. The house was perfect for our group. We loved the kayaks and SUPs. The lake was a great way to decompress after the soccer games. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Downtown is close with cute shops and restaurants. Great farmers market on Thursday. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I would love to come back and visit again.
We were up visiting our daughter and husband. Location is great. Park and conservation area both 5 minute walks. House is really nice and updated. Great view of the lake. Close to many other towns to visit, but check out Elk River first.
The house was perfect for our needs! Our family came into town for a memorial service and the house is central to everything we needed. We will definitely be staying there again if we come back to Elk River. Thank you to the host!
This property is beautiful!! So roomy and spacious. Ellie is awesome. She contacted me to make sure our check in went smoothly. In every correspondence, she states that if we need anything just call her and gave me her cell number. She is a fabulous host!! I would highly recommend this property!!
Very clean and cute little house! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Ellie was very friendly and easy to get a hold of if we needed her. Looking forward to staying here again!
Had a wonderful stay for a ladies weekend with old high school friends. House was well stocked with everything we needed. House is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and different places in the house to hang out. Only suggestion is possibly black out shades/curtains for the middle bedroom as it was very bright in the morning with the white sheer curtains. Host was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of. Perfect place for a small family or friend gathering or a place to relax.
Spent three days attending grandchildren’s high school graduations. The home was very comfortable and the host most gracious. Easy access off Hwy 10 as you enter Elk River. Would gladly stay here again
The house is nice and airy with great bedding. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a Keurig with plenty of pods! Good communication with the owner. I wouldn’t normally comment on the furniture, but I want that sofa In my TV room! Thanks Ellie!
Just a nice quiet place with plenty of room to relax.
