Downtown and Beach Adjacent Home in Neighborly Part of Town

Don't spend your time driving around looking for things to do! This house is a short drive or cheap Uber from downtown shopping, dining, bars and music, and the sugary beaches of Okaloosa Island! Skate park and rec center in this neighborhood as well! Park your boat in the large front yard if you like. The back yard is huge also, and great for supervised pets and kids. (There are a few weak spots in the fence so pets must be attended.) Coming soon, we will have a game room in the garage with a cool selfie mural! Check the photos to see if these updates are ready for your trip! Please note we do have a security camera on the front door. Please accurately report guest count and pets.

Great trip!

We had a great stay at this property! Everything was clean and it was a perfect place for us to stay for spring break. We had a couple issues, but they were quickly dealt with by the owner. Just a few minutes drive to restaurants and grocery stores and the beach was also just a short drive away.

Home was very cozy and clean. It was in a convenient location and it was great to have a fenced backyard for our dog. Rae was a great host and very responsive. The neighborhood was nice, and quiet.

This property is superb! The house is beautifully decorated in a great neighborhood. The host is amazing. I can't rave enough about our wonderful stay! The game room is fantastic, love the shuffleboard and jenga! We also loved the karaoke mic! We brought our whole family and it was wonderful for all my kiddos. This is the perfect place for a family or friend trip. Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, you name it. Perfect family vacation.

Amazing property and host!

I cannot express how accommodating and nice our host was, she always answered my questions and messages within a timely manner. Not only was she nice, but the property was clean and the house was very nice. I could not have asked for a more comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in this area!

My family took a quick, last minute trip to FWB & this was a great place to stay. The kids loved that they had their own rooms & the beds were comfortable. The location was great & the house is so cute! The host was very responsive when we had questions & had awesome recommendations for restaurants in the area. We will absolutely stay here again.

Loved the cottage. Extremely comfortable bed and livingroom furniture. Backyard was a real plus. Our dog and cat loved it - chasing squirrels. Owner was helpful with tv operation as well as pointing out activities and sights we might enjoy

Wonderful Place!

Super cute, super clean little home in a great location. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog, and it was stocked with everything we could possibly need. King bed was very, very comfortable. Rae was a very responsive, excellent host. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and walkable, and we loved having the Fort Walton Beach Recreation just two blocks away--very inexpensive for daily workouts, with a large ball field area behind for walking. Just a short drive to the beach and to Liza Jackson dog-friendly park. Lots of shopping and restaurants a short drive away as well. We'll definitely be back for another stay some day!

This was my first VRBO experience, and it has set the bar very high for any future VRBO stays. This was a very nice place to stay. It was decorated nicely and felt very warm. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s house. There were extra towels, pillows and blankets, and the kitchen was stocked reasonably well with dishes, pots and pans (and a dishwasher). As for cleanliness, it was spotless. The host was very easy to work with and responded to my questions quickly.

We loved this little home in Ft Walton Beach. Great location with tons of stuff to do nearby. We really appreciated the book with all of the recommendations. Everything was very clean when we arrived, the king bed and pillows were super comfy

Perfect House Close to the Beach!

I actually hate leaving reviews when we find a hidden gem because I want to keep the hidden gem all to ourselves! :) We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and pay attention to detail, and this house checked off all of the boxes for us! It was clean, nice, roomy, and had everything we needed. It was a quick 8 minute drive to the beach with plenty of restaurants and stores close by. The backyard was huge and gave ample room for our dogs to run and play. The decor was defiantly my style, which made it feel like home. I loved all of the details they paid attention to like the extension cords on both sides of the bed in the master bedroom! I know that sounds silly, but I hate going to a rental and not being able to charge my phone and items at night because all of the plugs are being used. I also loved the full length mirror! The host was very easy to communicate with, kind and gracious. He made sure we had all we needed (and our dogs). We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
