Private and quiet, great place to stay. 3 minute drive from the Mississippi river and Lock and Damn #8. Local snowmobile trail runs right in front of the house, along the township road. Only 25 minutes from La Crosse, WI and 25 minutes from Viroqua, WI. Room to easily park a fishing boat or 2 or 3!

Going fishing? Large turn around allows plenty of space to park and maneuver your fishing boat.
Bikers: there is a garage where you can store your bikes overnight. Bike along the Mississippi River or bike on the country roads throughout the Coulee Region, or check out trails here: https://www.trailforks.com/region/vernon-county/trails/
Families: Great place for family quality time. The owners of this property grew up here! Children can catch fireflies at night like we did as children. Jar provided! (We always let fireflies go in the morning). Walk and/or ride bike on the country road that runs in front of the house. This country road is a dead end, so very little traffic. There are several board games, puzzles, and lawn darts available. Both adult and children's books in upstairs dresser. Beautiful views from all windows. Relax on one of the two newly remodeled porches, one open and the other screened in. Black out blinds have been added to the bedrooms for that perfect night's sleep!

Farmhouse

This property was absolutely beautiful! My friends and I stayed for Oktoberfest this year in LaCrosse and the house was only 25 minutes away which was perfect for us. We enjoyed eating dinner out on the patio and waking up to hear the cows! I can’t wait to book again for our next visit!

Perfect country getaway

Absolutely wonderful and charming farmhouse. Far enough away to be very private, but easy to get everywhere we wanted. The place was immaculate and well kept. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Genoa farm house

Property was wonderful, just too close to major road- early fast traffic! Everything we needed was supplied very nicely. Except for no bunk beds and a very uncomfortable pull out couch we had a really nice time-love the big table outside!

Amazing Stay. Very Quiet

Wonderful and peaceful stay. This place is special. The kitchen had everything you would need. No need to go out for dinner. We ate dinner on Friday night on the porch and watched the sun go down!

Family “farmhouse” get away!

We had a great weekend at the “farmhouse!” Took our family, as was moving in some friends at UW-LaCrosse and enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend! Place was very accommodating and family friendly! We enjoyed the views, sounds and newly modeled farmhouse! We hope to be back!

Perfect getaway!

We had an amazing time at Christine's farmhouse! It's located in a super calm and relaxing area, it's newly and fully renovated. We had everything we needed! Kitchen but the house itself is fully equipped for a short and long stay too. Internet connection was also perfect for working or do training. The host was super nice and responsive. 10/10, definitely would recommend!
