About this property

Room to Roam! Beautiful House in Morganton with 1 acre of land and lots of deer!

Beautiful house in Morganton with over 1 acre of land. Very Private - end of the road location that borders the National Forest. Perfect location that is close to both downtown Blue Ridge and Blairsville (15 minutes each way). You will be greeted by deer during your stay! The home offers all the amenities you'll need including free Wifi, TVs in all the bedrooms, a hot tub, fire pit, coffee and s'mores station, and a game room. Bring your whole family including your pets, and enjoy the huge yard to roam and play games. There is a small stream that runs through the property and you can explore the national forest right next to the house. Enjoy all the beauty and nature that the North Georgia mountains offers with tons of hiking trails nearby, close to grocery stores, wineries, restaurants and apple orchards.

This property is located at the end of a road and adjoins USFS property. The road to the property is gravel, but well maintained and mostly flat (4WD is not required!). You'll love the drive in through the trees, passing farms, open fields and ponds. Please drive slowly as you will often see deer cross the road. Enjoy!

Even better than the listing
I want to start off by just saying that Rick went above and beyond for us during our stay. He was very responsive anytime we had a question even though it was the weekend of New Year’s Eve. The property is peaceful and easily accessible even if you don’t have all wheel drive. This is the perfect cabin for families that have children in different age ranges. The downstairs area was the perfect master retreat for my Husband and I while the older kids played upstairs on the full size air hockey table. Our kids also enjoyed playing down by the stream racing fallen leaves. Thank you guys for a great family vacation.

Beautiful!
This cabin was amazing! Although it was only my husband and Daughter plenty more people could fit in this cabin as well. Everything was as the post said. Our Dogs loved the little creek and we enjoyed hiking right next to the cabin in the woods. It was also nice being right in between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Would definitely come back!

What a comfortable and home like place! We felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. The property is stunning and very wellkept. Rick was very responsive for any questions we had. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to north Georgia.

Beautiful remote property
This property is very remote and secluded but just a short drive to grocery, dining, hiking, etc. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, cookware, and appliances. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the abundance of nature on the property. We saw deer and rabbits daily and even had a baby fawn sleep near the house one night. The grill was also in great shape and had nice tools provided. We will definitely plan to come back hear in the near future. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that we had. WiFi could be spotty at times but that is expected when staying in such a remote location. Overall it is a great place to get away and enjoy the mountains in Northern Georgia.

Family vacation April 2023
When we arrived the house seemed very nice, clean, and accurate to the pictures! Although in the pictures it seems as though you don't have close neighbors but that isn't the case! The owners of the rental own a home right next to this property which is convenient if we had any problems which we did and he was able to come over and add chemicals to the hot tub because it started turning green and nasty smelling 2 days into us being there. We asked if the levels were ok to go in afterwards and he confirmed that it was good to go! So we enjoyed the hot tub and our vacation but the day before we were leaving my whole family started to get a rash all over our bodies which itched like crazy. We returned home and went to the doctor and the doctor confirmed it was hot tub folliculitis which was due to a dirty hot tub! I contacted the owner and he said he emptied the hot tub after we left but I think it needs to be cleaned and also the temperature of the hot tub seemed to drop a lot while we used it and I think that was the reason for the bacteria. We were not credited any money for the inconvenience of the dirty hot tub and getting the rash! So beware!
