I recently booked this property and brought my granddaughter for a spring break trip. From the minute we walked in....(we were an hour early and the front desk asked for 25 cash to enter early.) I declined. Broken toilet and I called the host - he had me troubleshoot. Said he would send someone to fix the next day...he never did. The housing was stuck so we had to take the top off and press the housing so it would flush every time. Clearly the floors were unmopped as sand was on our bare feet after walking on them. We bought food at the grocery store but when we went to eat...there were no dishes. Just 4 glasses. Bathroom sink, there was standing water once we turned the water on. The same thing in the bathtub...standing water. Then, the 2nd night we decided to watch tv...It would not turn on. Called the host and they also tried to have me troubleshoot. They sent someone the next day to fix. Broken shades to get out to the balcony. We had to lift the shades with metal poles at the bottom to let each other outside to sit. The chains to lift were nonexistant. At the front desk, they basically dismissed anything we shared and felt like it was a "get in line" chuckle when we asked about these things. Elevator broken for over 24 hours the 3rd day there. I am requesting a full refund under VRBO's Book with confidence Guarantee due to the property's failure to meet basic health and safety standards. At one point one of the hosts told me "I got a good deal" for this property. "
