Fantastic family time!! Comfortable home, awesome dock! Fishing was fun! Loved the tech in the house, beautiful deck, the lake was awesome!! Thank you!
Great place to stay. Although it snowed the weekend we stayed and we had 5-6 people fall down the front entrance stairs because it was not salted or shoveled and we couldn’t find a shovel to use. It was okay because the kids that fell were younger but I’d hate to see that happen with an older couple.
Took the kids and grandkids for a quiet weekend escape from our busy schedules. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake view and fire pit while relaxing on the deck and patio, and took advantage of the many amenities. Everyone had a great time playing pool and the arcade games, and the jacuzzi was a real hit! Plenty of space to spread out and there were nice personal touches throughout the home — more amenities than other places we’ve stayed. Highly recommend!
Property and house were beautiful, clean, and in working order. The owner/manager was very quick to respond when I had questions. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The campground that surrounded the house was also beautiful and the campers seemed like long term or owners and they were all very friendly. There were a few things that were not ideal. The tap water, although "ok" to drink and shower, was not a flavor anymore found palatable. I know that lake properties have a sulfur smell to the water sometimes, but I would have liked a warning to bring a case of drinking water. There was a Britta pitcher in the fridge, which was nice for coffee but took too long to refill to have 11 people drinking out of it. The private beach was not well maintained and we ended up using the campground beach (which is technically only for the campers). The grass was really overgrown, but I know it's been raining a lot lately too. The house sleeps 17 people, we had 11 in our party. The dining table seats 8 so we figured there would be folding chairs. There were 2 in the garage, unfortunately they were both broken so we used camp chairs instead. Kitchen was stocked well with all the appliances and kitchenware you could need. The sauna/shower is more cool looking that in actual functionality. The tub jets spit black stuff out and 5 people in our party could not figure out how to operate half the options of the shower. An instructional sheet would have been beneficial.
The weekend was great and the space in the house was all we needed. The games downstairs were awesome for occupying kids while we were cooking or it was raining. The only real downfall we had was the campground has a “beach” that we were informed we couldn’t use. (We didn’t realize it was the campground property; it was right close to the dock of this house.) The lake was great, we kayaked around it, fished off the dock, and enjoyed relaxing in the cool gadget filled home for the weekend!
This property is fun and amazing! Lots of modern upgrades, big beautiful deck. Lots of room for people, on the lake. We used this property for 4 days as our daughter was getting married in the area. We could not have gotten a better property. We had to have people to help get things ready. We grilled out and had plenty of room outside and inside to do anything you would like to do. The owner was so helpful and understanding. We highly recommend this place!! We may even go back just vacation here.
