Property was perfect for our 3 couples. Beach was great! There were some maintenance issues (TV and coffee pot did not work, took us 3 days to get rid of gnats in kitchen, deck was in need of maintenance due to some rotted wood and several holes in the deck, bbq grille was filthy).
We loved our week on Lake Michigan. The view from deck and short walk to the beach was wonderful. The small general Store in Good Hart was close and has really good pies!
Very private community
thank you!
Had a great time. Very relaxing. Lovely cottage. One of our guests couldn’t walk to the beach because of the incline. It enjoyed sitting on the deck. All in all, terrific,
The house and area are just beautiful. The view of Lake Michigan is like no other. We had everything we needed at the house. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful large cottage in quaint village of Good Hart. Great view of Lake Michigan and lots of towns to explore all about 30 minutes away. We are avid golfers and there were plenty of great golf courses to choose from. I will definitely consider booking this property again.
The location was exceptionally quiet and steps from Lake Michigan. Also just a short drive to Harbor Springs, Petosky, the UP connector bridge, and the Mackinac Island ferry. There is plenty to do close by or you can just stay home and relax.
Very nice, clean house only a few steps from a nice sandy beach. Great deck with plentiful chairs and tables for a large party of folks. No A/C but you really don't need it due to the cool lake breezes. Convenient location between Good Hart and Cross Village.
The beach at this home is wonderful. For Good Hart it had a beautiful sugar sand beach and sandy entry to the water. Good Hart is mostly known for the rocks that make entry to the shallow water challenging; but at this lovely VRBO home, there was plenty of sand so we didn’t always use our surf shoes.
The house itself was very pretty and clean and furnished with everything we could need. The kitchen was big enough for two people to be working in and all the appliances were in perfect working order. The small microwave was tucked in a cupboard below the island, and it was difficult to read the buttons without my glasses. It worked just fine though. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would go back again. Thank you to the owners for creating a comfortable vacation spot!
Traveler from Minnesota. Having grown up in northern Michigan ( not to be confused with the Upper
Very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and furnishings. Kitchen was particularly well stocked with adequate cookware and dishes. The setting, for my tastes, was perfect. Very private with direct access to the beach. Very quiet ! Had the weather been favorable we would have enjoyed a fire on the beach and sitting on the expansive deck overlooking the lake. While the next comment does not reflect on the accommodations, it must be noted the fall colors were magnificent. I have never experienced color this brilliant and vibrant. Harbor Springs was a delight.
All in all a wonderful stay with zero complaints despite the 10 hour drive to get there😊
This place was perfect for our family vacation in northern Michigan. The kitchen is amazing; very user friendly. We cooked dinner almost every evening. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Everyone had plenty of space and each of my girls had their own bathroom, which was not absolutely necessary, but certainly made them very happy. The house is close to two other houses, but the trees between the houses kept things private. People were generally pretty quiet, which we appreciated very much. The access to the beach is just a little walk over the dune. The beach is beautiful, not crowded at all. You only see people from the houses close by. The lake is clear and cold! But I got used to it. We rented a Kayak and a SUP. We were able to use both when the wind died down and in the evening when the lake was calmer. We so enjoyed our stay here, reading on the back deck or on the beach. We did day trips to Harbor Springs, Indian River, and Mackinaw Island. I would stay here again in a heart beat. I didn't want to leave. Thank you to our host who had such a lovely place for us to stay. Our host was very responsive and answered my questions.
