Misleading
Wynwood (owner) markets themselves as a luxury brand. That is why we chose this listing. The price was as high as we pay for a property in Naples, FL. Unfortunately, there is NOTHING luxurious about this unit other than the magnificent view. It is sunny and large. However, it felt more like we were staying in a college student/first “grown up” apartment. Other than the comfy bed, everything was cheap. The countertops in the kitchen were Formica and stained. The sink faucets were loose and leaky. The hot water was the worst…..could not get a hot shower for more than three minutes on a good day, and then it went cold. They gave us ONE hand towel for two people. Never replaced the cushion covers or fixed leaky faucet in the bathroom after several requests and promises on their part that these issues would be resolved. The worst thing is the master bathroom. I had to step up about two feet to get into the tub (shower is located there) which is surrounded by a ceiling high glass door. It was very slippery. I am in great shape but I did fall once and got a terrible bruise on my shin which is still hurting nearly a month later. I am lucky I did not break my neck or another bone. When I contacted “Juan”, the manager, he was always very nice and prompt in his replies but refused to provide any kind of assistance. No bath mat…..nothing. My main beef is that the description was misleading and as a result, I would never book or recommend one of their properties.
