Our home is located on Rte 414 10 miles to Corning or Watkins Glen. The beautiful back yard allows for a campfire (wood ), sunbathing and playing games. Explore the creek bed that leads to a stocked trout stream. Visit the goats at the farm up the road. Two TV's are connected and a private phone is available for your convenience. Parking is off 414 with ample space for 3 cars. This remodeled home has hard wood floors, custom kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops. Eggs end Sept 1 The space Remember that this house is in the country. We have had deer in the yard and an owl in the trees. It is not uncommon to have bunnies in the back yard. So you may run into some wild life. That means that there may be bugs depending on the weather. There are squirrels, chipmunks and possibly a mole or mouse. If you have any concerns about wildlife please contact us. The house is originally from the 1860's. We have rewired the house completely. Some of the wainscoting and wood paneling is from that time period. Because the house has been added onto in the 1920's some of the flooring is uneven. A new deck has been added. The upstairs bedrooms are connected with a door between them. Of course there is now inside plumbing. No need to walk to and outhouse. The parking is next to the garage which is to the right of the house. There is room for several cars. You will walk from the driveway down to the house. Guest access You have the whole house to yourselves. We are just up the road if you need any help. Other things to note Please park in our driveway with room for at least 3 cars. Do not park at the yellow house next door. They charge 50 each night if you stay there. We expect some trash when you stay with us. We provide a full size kitchen garbage bag. Since we are charged for garbage removal. We will pay for one bag for each night you stay. Other trash will be charged $5.00 per bag. Thank you for understanding.

We came out for our son's fiance's baby shower and this property was perfect for the five of us. Barb was a fantastic host and made everything super easy. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was cute and very clean. The kitchen was especially well-equipped. The only drawback was the room layout upstairs because one bedroom is open at the top of the stairs (no wall or door) so it’s not as private as the other two. Ll
The house was nice, the parking had alot of stipulations which is not an issue but the there is no walkway from parking to front door, uneven and hilly which while carrying luggage was difficult, it would not be easy for someone who has difficulty walking, Some things are unpreventalble like the walkway or parking issues, but others are not. The fridge was filled with so much food left by others you had no idea what was left for us i.e. eggs coffee, creamer, or coffee it was a little unappealing. When we did find old food in microwave I contacted the owner and they came right over and grabbed it. None of this would stop us from staying again it was a great location, great prince and it was a nice stay.
