Westgate Smokey Mountain Resort and Water Park is located in Gatlinburg, TN. It is next to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood Theme Park. Guests can enjoy the onsite indoor/outdoor water park with a heated pool, children's water slides, a lazy river, and a children's activity room. Outside amenities include 2 heated pools, and other pools as well, a miniature golf course, a zip line, picnic areas, fire pit seating areas and beautiful grills.
There is also a business center, a fitness center and spa. Onsite is Southern Comfort restaurant and bar, a marketplace mini store and deli, a snack bar and an infinity pool and bar. There is free wifi available, free parking and free shuttle service to areas nearby. A free shuttle that takes you up and down the mountain as well.
This cabin-style condo, which is the best the resort has to offer, has a king bed, queen sofa bed in living room, a full bath with shower. It has a full kitchen. It has a balcony. There is also a washer and dryer in your condo so you can enjoy the comforts of home. Also, an elevator. No more climbing 3 flights of stairs with luggage or groceries. Wonderful if someone is handicapped, or if you're bringing lots of luggage. Much better on the back. Roller racks are there to put your luggage on. Don't have to carry it, just roll your stuff in.
There are endless things to do in and around Gatlinburg. Dollywood Theme Park, Arcade, Zip line, swimming pools indoors and out. Dinner Theatres, The Aquarium, horseback riding stables, tons of shows. You name it, its here. There is something here for everyone. We go to the Roaring Fork Motor Trail to catch sight of bears in the wild. There are Ghost tours, and don't forget the National Park. Lots of stuff to see and do there.

My husband and I have been coming to this place for many, many years. We love it here in the mountains. We travel 12 hours to get to Gatlinburg from DE. Its worth the trip. Unfortunately, my husband is having major health issues. It is getting harder to be able to travel and do all the things we want to do. This is a fabulous place to visit. There are endless things to do. There are dinner theatres, theme parks, Dollywood for one. Water parks, Natiional Parks, almost anything you can think of is here in Gatlinburg, zip lines, arcades, horseback riding stables, indoor and outdoor pools. The Aquarium, the Titanic, magic shows, You name it, its here. Lots to do for everyone no matter what age you are.
The elevator in our condo is wonderful. If you are handicapped or just carrying too much stuff, the elevator is great. No more dragging everything up 3 flights of stairs.
There is even a Ghost tour for your enjoyment. And don't forget to go to the Roaring Fork Motor Trail to catch a look at the bears. We go there every time we come to the mountains. Great fun!

We have been coming to TN for years. We are flatlanders, (no mountains) in DE.
We found a wonderful place to just do whatever you want to do. Sometimes the National Park trails, sometimes the pools, sometimes dinner theatres and shows. I think we have tried at least 50% of what is here, but they keep putting more out there for us to see and enjoy. We love trying new things. If you like trying new things, this is the place to be. The people at Westgate are very nice and helpful. great place.

What makes this property unique
The elevator. The property is beautiful, delux accommodations, but the best thing for us is the elevator. My husband is now handicapped and we couldn't come here anymore without the help of the elevator. There are racks on wheels to push your luggage into the elevator and on to your condo. No more carrying luggage or groceries.
