Best location ever!
I cannot thank Kimberly enough for letting us use the house for my baby's first birthday. We used the dining areas for the party and it was perfect! Everyone had a good time and loved the house. We also stayed there overnight and the rooms were beautifully set up. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. It was a wonderful experience overall and I highly recommend this property.

Graduation weekend
We stayed at the Inn at Mt Ida for a day and celebrated my graduation having some friends and family for dinner. Our stay and dinner was lovely. We didn't use their catering and decided to bring our own food but their options also look great and if had to do it again I'd choose to have them cater. The place is better than the pictures show and Kimberly was extremly responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Historic elegance
The Inn at Mt Ida is a gem in the heart of historic Ellicott City! The home has been beautifully restored and furnished impeccably with a nod to the home’s history, but with all of the modern comforts and conveniences. The large entertaining spaces allow for an abundance of light to flow throughout, and create a warm atmosphere for a nice gathering. In our case it was for a bridal shower, in which Mt Ida was the perfect hostess. 18 Guests were able to mingle comfortably in the entry rooms, and were seated comfortably in the mirrored dining rooms. The beautiful gardens were a perfect backdrop for photos. The overnight guests enjoyed a welcome basket of goodies and Prosecco, fine bed linens and towels, (with special mention of the plush robes and slippers), and sweet treats left at each bedside. The keyless entry was very convenient and guests felt safe and secure at night. The owner let us know that they were available throughout our stay for any additional needs, but of course, there weren’t any! I would highly recommend Mt Ida for a special gathering event, or for simply an overnight or extended stay. It is truly a lovely and unique setting for an unforgettable experience!

breathtaking and right in old ec!
we rented this as the bridal suite for my party. we got ready for our wedding in one of the dinning rooms with the natural lighting. the beds were comfortable, the patio was such a treat to hang out on! we did our first look and wedding party pictures there too - it was raining and they turned out amazing! Kimberly was super responsive too. If we didn’t already have food being delivered we probably would have had them cater for us as well! I wish we would have booked ahead of time and maybe even had our rehearsal dinner there too it was so amazing!
