We loved our stay in Charleston at this property. We had six adults, and the property was the perfect fit. The location is a quick walk to King Street but far enough away from the noise and nightlife to have a quiet place to sleep.
The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen set up was great for morning coffee and breakfast. I highly recommend Tom and Hannah's place!
We had a great week on our mother-daughter trip with four of us staying comfortably. The house was clean and in a convenient location. The porch was definitely our favorite spot to hang out and spend time together. It was a great stay!
Tom and Hannah's place was perfect for our young family! The whole place was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony after kids went to bed, and the location was perfect. Close to shopping, great food, and a bagel shop just around the corner. Would definitely recommend booking!
Great home and amazing location! Well-stocked with towels and all the things one would need for an incredible stay! Would 100% stay here again and recommend to others!
Great property - clean, updated & well-appointed. Very comfortable beds & quiet neighborhood - never had noise issues. Close to King St - very convenient. Great communication with hosts. Lovely stay - would recommend!
We wanted to do an end of summer getaway with our 3 daughters, before everyone headed back off to college. Our first time to Charleston. Everything was great. Food was great, people were friendly and the city was very clean and safe. Lots to do here.
Loved our stay. The house is beautifully appointed, comfy beds, clean linens. Communication was easy and fast. The location 2 blocks from King Street made it very walkable to restaurants and shopping. We rented a car which was smart because going to beaches and downtown would've even expensive with ride shares. The only downside was the internet was sketchy and weak at times and street parking was for the most park easy but at times, tricky to find a spot.
Would recommend!
This property was beautiful, clean, solidly built and had a great porch for our group of 5 to hang out on. Beds were comfortable and hosts were communicative! Close walking to Southbound restaurant, King Street, and holy city bagels. 25 min walk to old slave market
We came to Charleston a few years ago but stayed in Mt. Pleasant which is over the bridge. We were not certain on locations at the time so it hindered us from really enjoying downtown Charleston because of the distance. This time we decided to stay downtown Charleston and we are so glad we did. I looked at several properties but decided on this one. There is always a slight fear that the pictures will not match what you see upon arrival. This place was exactly what it states it is. It is simply beautiful and charming. We only had a group of three so it was definitely spacious enough but even for a larger group it would work. The owners definitely took time in decorating and creating a space to feel like home. The home was immaculate and it is positioned in the perfect location and we were able to park right in front of the home. The owners were so accommodating and available for any questions or concerns we had. If considering Charleston for a getaway please consider this home. You will not be disappointed.
We stayed here for a Mom’s vacation (4 women). We had plenty of space and were within walking distance to most places. Everything we needed was available in the apartment!
The Azalea B was super comfortable- perfect amount of space for our 5 people, we loved the location and walkability. Would highly recommend! Close to local spots for coffee and breakfast. The hosts’ communication was great.
Perfect home/location for first-timers. Easy to get to the beaches and attractions by car, and walkable to the charming shops and restaurants on King St.
We loved the quick walk to Bad Bunnies for morning coffee to bring back and enjoy on our private deck. The house was the perfect size for me and my two older (17 & 20) sons: space for each of us but still felt like we were spending time together.
Tom and Hannah checked in all throughout our stay and were fantastic about responding. Would definitely stay here again!
Our family was in South Carolina to tour the College of Charleston with our oldest daughter. The home was very clean, a short walk to King Street and close enough to walk to the college. Tom, our host, was easily accessible and easy to communicate with from our booking through our stay. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to visit Charleston!
This charming renovated Charlestonian house divided into three apartments is in a great location near King St. and multiple restaurants. The street is quiet for being so close to everything and our apartment (B) was modern and convenient. Great beds and well stocked kitchenette plus we really enjoyed the nicely furnished upper porch. The photos don’t do the spacious upstairs justice - 2 large bedrooms plus bathroom. Great hosts. Everything was perfect.
Came to Charleston with my family of five (three teenage girls!😁) for labor day weekend and this is THE PERFECT SPOT.
Excellent layout and so comfortable for all of us. Location is unbeatable. Hosts are phenomenal and there with dinner and gym recommendations in an instant.
Morning coffee on the porch with the wife and a late night movie with the girls were real highlights.
Just the best. Can’t wait to return.
A group of 6 girlfriends stayed at the property for a weekend in Charleston. The home was perfectly clean and comfy to be in for the weekend. Each one of us thought it was a wonderful spot (and admittedly we're not the easiest group to please!) The location was perfect - so many neighborhood spots nearby, and quick walking distance to the lively King Street! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and helping us have the best weekend in lovely Charleston! Would easily recommend.
Beautiful house in a great spot! First off, the house was spotless and spacious. They provided complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and an endless amount of towels and toilet paper, which was very much appreciated. We were near a lot of great food and places to shop, whether you wanted to walk or rent a nearby lime bike. The house offers a book with food and activity suggestions, which we used as a guide and thoroughly enjoyed. We had an amazing stay thanks to the hospitality of the owners and this amazing house. We will be returning in the future.
My cousin and I loved our stay at the Azaleas. It was a beautiful space and had more room than we expected. The check in and out process was seamless and Tom & Hannah were great at checking in to ensure all was well. The only downfall that I would call out was that the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the guests in both the unit next to and below us. It certainly did not take away from our stay and we will most certainly book again the next time we visit Charleston.
This. Was. Wonderful!
I am going to make a bold statement - this was the single best VRBO/airb&b rental I have ever had. The place. The location. The hosts—all amazing! Communication with the hosts was sooo helpful and warm. This was a quick stay with my three teenage daughters and we could not have been happier. A real lovely home away from home for us. PS - do NOT miss the coffee shop across the street - Baguette Magic - phenomenal egg sandwich and croissant. I will stay at any property Tom and Hannah own any chance I get, anywhere in the world :-)

Hey y'all! We were drawn to Charleston years ago for our love of the ocean, warm weather, and delicious food! Our goal is to ensure you have a fantastic time in this beautiful city. While not hosting we like to spend our time making music, going out on the water for a sunset cruise, and taking our yellow lab for beach walks.
