The space
The house sits on the edge of a west-facing canyon at a quiet cul-de-sac. Each element of the house was designed to feature an exterior view overlooking a beautiful canyon or private garden space. "Bright, open and beautiful!"
Immersed in a canyon off of La Jolla and situated conveniently off the 52 Highway between the 5 and 805 - its less than 15 minutes to everything you would want to do in San Diego. Please note that the freeway can be heard outside.
Top Story/Level
A large master bedroom upstairs opens up onto a glass rail balcony with sweeping views. The large trees ensure privacy and make you feel like you are perched in a modern treehouse. The en-suite bathroom features a clear skylight and a huge portrait window giving you a continuous earthscape even while you shower.
2 additional bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with a full) and a double vanity bathroom with a bathtub are located on the top floor.
Main Floor
A secondary master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is off the south end.
A modern kitchen, dining room, and living room are all integrated into an open-concept space.
New Addition*
Private office space has been created a few steps down from the main house. A 4-person conference desk, seating area, and outdoor deck are included. There is wifi and a mini-fridge in the office.
Exterior:
A large grass area with multiple decks allows for outdoor play and plenty of relaxation. Close proximity to a hiking/biking trail. Enjoy stretching out in a hammock beside the herb garden and rinse off after a surf in the hot/cold outdoor shower.
With direct access to the kitchen, a BBQ and deck are the best way to enjoy an outdoor meal with a view at the outdoor dining table.
