About this property

Cozy mountain cabin on 15 acre Animal Sanctuary

Our cozy Guest House cabin is located on Forever Young Sanctuary- a 15 acre slice of heaven in the North Georgia mountains.

We are a pet friendly, simple living homestead with an eclectic menagerie of animals including Alpacas and Donkeys.

The Guest House has a small fenced-in back yard, a back patio with a gas grill & a private fire pit stocked with dry wood.

The Forever Young Pavilion includes a 16 x 32 in-ground swimming pool, an eating area which seats 6, a new gas grill, large hot-tub and a spacious new bath house.

Located between Jasper & Ellijay on Burnt Mountain-- we are close to hiking, vineyards, destination mountain towns and festivals.

A True Sanctuary

We had a lovely time. The cabin and grounds exceeded our expectations. Kevin and Karen are what truly makes the place special. They are two of the kindest individuals we’ve ever met. Our boys loved the animals, pool, hot tub, and the “giant shower” in the bath house. We can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous location and surroundings

What a unique and comfortable place to enjoy the many things North Ga has to offer. The home is well designed and has everything you may need and more. The grounds are lovely and the animals they have add a delightful element you cannot find elsewhere. My daughter and I enjoyed 2 fun filled days exploring the area and relaxing in the home. We hope to be back soon and would definitely stay here again.

Cottage in the mountains

We throughly enjoyed our stay so much making plans to come back soon. Our host and hostess, Kevin and Karen, went above and beyond. Have to mention the animals are an added bonus. The weather was perfect and so was our view.

Just as Charming Second Time Around!

We stayed at this special place about four months ago and couldn't wait to return. It is just so clean and so very cozy. We love everything about the cottage, and then the owners and their pets are just as amazing. If you want to deal with kind, fun, and generous property owners then don't even hesitate. We are already planning on returning because it feels like home, and I know it is intentional that they want you to feel like that and to spread the joy of their beautiful surroundings and hearts.

Sanctuary in the woods

This little cabin what just what I was looking for! It has everything you will need and many lovely added touches. I haven't felt that at peace in a long time. Kevin and Karen were wonderful. And their property is very special and you can tell they love what they do. No doubt, if I had needed anything, they would have been right there to help. If I have an occasion to return to Jasper, I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for Us

The hosts were so friendly, responsive and engaging. We like the rustic setting. The place was clean with nice plush towels, robes and linens. Way better than another place I stayed that labeled itself “luxury”. Even though it’s a nice country setting it was conveniently located to everything we needed to get to.

Rustic wooden beams, a crackling fireplace, and snug furnishings set the scene. It felt like a secret refuge, far away from the hustle and bustle. 🌲 Nature's Embrace Imagine waking up to the gentle symphony of birdsong and rustling leaves. The sanctuary's 15 acres are home to an eclectic menagerie—Alpacas, Donkeys, and more. Each morning, I sipped my coffee on the porch, watching the sun paint the mountains in hues of gold. 🌈 Animal Encounters: Jimmy, Buffet, and Flip-Flop—the Huacaya Alpacas—greeted me with curious eyes. First time to Jasper

Our cabin at Forever Young Sanctuary was perfect for our weekend visit. We enjoyed having a fire with the fire pit, wood and lighter all provided. The location on Burnt Mountain was so convenient between Jasper and the Gibbs Gardens at Ball Ground. We will return again!

Great stay in Jasper

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Cabin, my children enjoyed the animals too. The cabin has everything you can possibly need. The Host were very friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very affordable. Jasper is a beautiful city, breathtaking views, We will defintely visit again, thank you.

Best VRBO ever!!!

Let me start with the space itself, it was the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Amazing beds and everything you will need! Wifi is great, had no problem working from there. Kids loved the themed room with fun surprises. The space is great, private and quiet, but even though the space is great, it isn't even close to being the best part of the rental. Kevin, Karen, Jimmy, Buffett, Flip Flop, Sweet Pea, Peanut, Cora, Puffins, Muffin, Bindi, Bailey, Ginger, and Mary Ann are the main reasons why this rental is so great. My daughter's loved the animals. We hung out with Kevin around the big fire pit for a couple hours. Both Karen and Kevin are so accommodating and genuinely some of the nicest people I ever met. We will definitely be back!!! Thank y'all again!

Amazing Location

Best brownies we ever had from Karen. Beautiful property with lovely animals . At the house you can find everything you need. Back yard was huge bonus for ours dogs fully fenced. Karen and Kevin provide you with everything you need and even more. Thank you for letting us stay:)

Wonderful Hosts and Property!

This cottage is so cute and comfortable. Where can one find a two bedroom, private cottage for such an affordable price? We only used the main bedroom where we found the bed to be so comfortable. We also enjoyed the large, sectional sofa for relaxing. There were three ceiling fans as well. There were little touches throughout like candles with matches, plastic wine and water glasses for the hot tub (not to mention hooded robes and towels), a dog bowl and toy in case you brought a pet, a fenced backyard with the fire pit already set up with wood and the supplies to start your fire, a fantastic gas grill, immediate hot water in the bathroom for your shower... I know I am forgetting something. We found their animals to be fun and loving as well. It was so fun to walk through their wooded path to the nearby winery. The best part of the stay were the hosts, Kevin and Karen. They were so sweet and wanted to make sure we were always happy and would do anything to make sure our stay was great. We absolutely hope to revist before long. Fantastic property and people!

The owners were amazing! They thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. They treated us more like family than visitors!! We will definitely be back for multiple visits. Especially in 2024 when they have the pool put in. My kid loved all the animals.

We chose Jasper, GA as our location as it was close enough to Atlanta to be at Hartsfield Airport in less than an hour and a half & far enough from the city (Atlanta and Jasper!) to be in the quietude and beauty of the North Georgia mountains everyday.

Guests are invited to enjoy an educational, hands-on "Meet-n-Greet" with our animals (donkeys, alpacas and bunnies) for a modest $15 donation per family.
