About this property
*NEW* Seabrook's Slow M'Ocean: Dog Friendly, Hot Tub!
Professionally managed onsite by Seabrook Hospitality. By booking with Seabrook Hospitality, you have access to all resort amenities, including the pool and gym.
Slow M’Ocean is a 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath cozy haven nestled away from the hustle and bustle of life in the fast lane. Rest, relaxation, and comfort await you from the moment you turn in to Seabrook and wind down its idyllic tree-lined streets to quiet Lily Lane. Just park in front of your home-away-from-home and then forget the car. Everything you need is in easy reach.
The main floor boasts an open-concept living area complete with a fully equipped kitchen and intimate dining nook with seating for 6 + high chair. A generous-sized half-bath is conveniently located off the kitchen. The living room with a swiveling smart TV and Xbox One S includes plenty of lounge-worthy seating. (We provide reliable wi-fi service; just bring your own games for the Xbox, please.) If you’re feeling more nostalgic, we also have lots of board games, playing cards, and puzzles suitable for all ages. And for those cooler mornings and evenings, a gas fireplace turns on with only a flick of a switch. A cozy covered outdoor back porch complete with rocking chairs is located off the living area for an easy escape to some peace and quiet.
The top floor features a primary bedroom with a plush adjustable king bed, smart TV and DVD player, and a romantic private deck offering forest views and a wonderful open sky perfect for star gazing. The second bedroom includes an XL twin over queen bunk bed with a slide-out XL twin trundle. The twin beds can even accommodate adult-sized snoozers for even more sleeping flexibility. The full bath offers a generous soaking tub and on-demand hot water ensuring no one has to miss out on a hot shower no matter how long the kids hog the bathroom. A full-size washer and dryer in the hall means you can pack light and never have to cart your laundry very far.
There’s something for everyone to do at Seabrook no matter what the age or activity level. Take a stroll on one of the many walking trails, one of which is located right outside your back door! Turn left to head to the Farm District to visit the horses or turn right for a 10-minute walk to Seabrook’s biggest draw; the majestic Pacific Ocean, with its seemingly endless beach that stretches on for miles. We supply the beach towels and sand pails with shovels and even a little cooler if you want to pack some sandwiches and drinks from the quaint market on your way. For sports lovers there’s outdoor basketball, pickle ball, tennis, or perhaps a civilized game of bocce is more your style. Rent some bikes and head to the new mountain bike trails, or go for a hike in the world-famous Olympic Rain Forest. Don’t forget to visit the local shops for some retail therapy, a sure-thing to satisfy anyone with the shopping bug.
Weather not so great? That’s ok! Gather up the gang and head to the indoor swimming pool which is only a two-minute walk away from the house. Or head to the kid and dog-friendly covered beer garden at Growler’s Alley, which ensures even in a downpour the only thing ever getting wet is your whistle. Sit by the fire and read that book you’ve been wanting to find time for or perhaps start a new knitting project after picking up some new yarn from the fiber store in town. The possibilities are endless at Seabrook!
After a busy day of chosen activity, settle on to the inviting covered back porch with a beverage and do nothing but listen to the ocean and watch the clouds roll by. Bird-watching, chipmunk gazing, and, if you’re lucky, a local deer family strolling through the forest may also be on the agenda. Grill something yummy for dinner on the quality gas grill provided out front and later enjoy some homemade s’mores at the fire pit just steps away in Lily Park to recount the day’s events with your friends and family.
Don’t feel like cooking? Take a five-minute walk to town where there’s multiple options for a casual bite to eat. Find everything from artisan pizza and salads, to spicy margaritas and burritos to die for. Or share a bottle of wine and a cheese plate at the wine shop, or step over to the bakery for a latte and a pastry of your choice; just get there early for their famous cinnamon rolls or they may be sold out! For the kids (and the kid in you) there’s also yummy gourmet ice cream and sweets from the candy shop for the walk home.
Here for an extended stay? Take a drive up to Kalaloch or Lake Quinault in the beautiful Olympic National Park to visit their historic lodges, or perhaps take a picturesque 30-minute drive to Ocean Shores if kitschy beach-town memorabilia and awesome fish and chips are your thing.
We hope you’ll decide to come and enjoy a slower pace at Slow M’Ocean where our goal is to provide everyone a relaxing home away from home!
