This professionally decorated home is right across the street from the beach with surf views. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on the northern end of the island among other big beautiful homes with tropical landscapes and will sleep up to 12 people. A full size private pool is just out the back door with volley ball accessories and more and the beach access is right across the street. This " Haven " will impress even the toughest " critics "No Smoking, No pets, Age 25+ Required. All Rates are subject to change. Seasons and Specials change is posssible without published notice.

Yesenia - 5 stars! House is very beautiful with great decor. Very spacious and a HUGE master bedroom with bath suite. Stocked up with many kitchen items & towels. Location is great, across the street to beach access. Pool area is great to relax after a long day at the beach but not ready to call it a night. Balcony is great to sit and relax and enjoy the night. Even had a great cookout on balcony. Our overall stay was just Beautiful.

Our family had the best time staying at this house. We made a lot of memories this time going to South Padre. It was close enough to The beach and it was easy to carry our things we needed and go back and get the other things that we forgot. It is a great area and Thank you for letting us stay at your home. Great vacation!
For the second year my family has enjoyed staying here. The home is clean, nice, spacious and has all you would need. Very well equipped. You cant beat the location, EASY walking distance to the beach and near restaurants and shopping. The pool is always enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. We plan on staying here again next year!
This home is in a perfect location and is right across the street from the beach with a wide open empty lot with a great unobstructed view of the waves. All of the amenities and comforts of home were available to us and we lacked for nothing. I would definitely book again.

Poor property management
The house and furnishings were nice and the location was great. The house is right scythe street from beach access and the porch had a nice view of the ocean. We had multiple issues at the house. We had to battle with the ants daily. They were in the couch, in a suitcase, in the bunker room, in the second floor powder room, dining room and kitchen. We advised the property management that the home needed to be treated professionally.
Location of the property is excellent. This property is a duplex, not a house! The unit itself is dirty and not well maintained. Broken pots by the pool. Broken windows. Trash and cigarettes litter the pool area. Not all that bad but not nearly as advertised. Owner showed up late at night to pretending to be someone else to notify my wife that we cannot park in the other driveway. Strange overall vibes. Place is in desperate need of some TLC.
Excellent place- we were about to spend time together as a 3 generation family. It allowed the cousins to get to know each other and provided enough privacy and space for each family group. Lovely place and ideal location. Would rent it again😀
This house was perfect for my entire family. Less than a minute to the beach. I had ages 85-3! The entry level had a en-suite bedroom that my parents used. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. Kitchen had the essentials and the view from the balcony was just right. The pool was a cool refresher after a day at the beach.
Would have liked a heads up on a broken shower, garage door, and dryer at our time of arrival. No "on the island manager" this year as opposed to our stay there in 2019 so we had to contact the host who lives out of town. Some issues remained unresolved when we left. We enjoyed ourselves despite the inconveninces.
This was a great beach house across the street from the water. Corner house with great view of the beach. Plenty of space, garage for toys and your own private pool to cool off after a day at the beach! Me and my family really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay again next year. Book this place.....you won't regret it!
There was a “fubar” when we first arrived 1) the place was not cleaned, 2) linen to the beds and towels were on the floor outside of the laundry room 3) the home was hot due to the thermostats being put on 80….once I called the host, he was upset that we had to go through that and got to working on rectifying the problem post haste! He even was going to give us an extra day, but since we were going to have to be back in San Antonio, he gave us a late check out time. He did all of this while being under stress of having to bury a family member that weekend in Washington DC. My hat is off to the host for the remarkable poise, courtesy, generosity and just doing the right thing. The place was beautiful and cooled off once a few hours passed for the temp to lower in the house…also the pool was very nice but we couldn’t enjoy it at nightfall due to lights being inoperable even with guidance on how to get them to work….but it was not a show stopper. Also the homes bbq grill was spotless and worked very well for our cookout. The distance to the beach, which was across the street was also another plus! My family loved the place and we will be returning again in 2022! Again, a wonderful home and an even better host!!
Absolutely cannot beat the location and view of this home. This home is so close to the gulf, easy walk to the beach which wasn't crowded at all. We sat outside on the porch every night listening to the waves. Just what we needed to relax. We were a little disappointed that the beach chairs were in such poor shape we couldn't use them but luckily there is a Walmart nearby to buy some. Highly recommend Porky's Pit BBQ truck nearby for some absolutely awesome BBQ and the Mexican restaurant on the corner Dona Carmen's has to die for barbacoa street tacos. This was our first trip to Texas and we will be back.
Stayed for almost a week. The house was big, master bedroom was amazing. We loved the front balcony, pool was very clean. I agree with previous reviews about needing more kitchen towels. The best thing is the location, such an easy walk to beach and the water was so clear, it was really beautiful.
This was a perfect location for your family crew of 6 adults and 3 kids. Everyone loved the stay! The property was clean and the location was absolutely wonderful! We hope to stay here again for our next trip to SPI.
This was our second time staying in this home. The home itself is great with a private pool and close to the beach. The only issue is that the owner no longer has a management company and has the "maid" (his words not mind) just, "kind of handle things" for him (again his words). The grill that was there last year was not there this year. The trash was overflowing and the pool was very dirty. There was laminated paperwork with a management company contact person listed so I called the number and asked for the contact. The manager last year told me that she is no longer managing the property. The company told me that they have not managed the property for a few years, so I called the owner who lives in Austin, TX. He was shocked about the grill and accused the previous tenants of stealing it. I told him I don't know about any of that, but the grill is not here. He told me to buy one and he would reimburse me, then thought better of that plan and had someone buy one and bring it by the house the next day. The pool is cleaned every Tuesday, so we only had to wait for that. The trash was picked up the next day as well. This was not the owner's fault, just trash pickup was slow.
After returning home, we were shocked that the owner charged us an additional $250 due to a trashed grill, sand in the sink, and us having pets against the contract. we did cook on the new grill, but in no way trashed it. I have pictures we took before leaving that prove this fact. I also have an invoice from Pet Smart where we boarded our dogs, so they were not with us at all! I seriously doubt there was any significant amount sand in the sink because we rinsed everything before entering the home. I am disputing the charges, but would warn anyone wanting to rent this home.
The home is nice with the private pool and location. But with the owner's decision to self-manage the property I would not trust that he will be honest in his dealings. He may be desperate after the Covid-19 lull in property income, but he really needs a management company. His dishonesty cannot be fixed, however. Beware!
Big group of best friends and their spouses met up post-pandemic for a weekend getaway and fishing trip. House was great for entertainment and BBQ by the pool. We enjoyed our stay.
