OE 2B offers all the comforts of home, and the “extras” of private upscale villa rental. Best yet, the living room sliding glass doors open directly onto the beach. Walk in/walk out to refresh your drink or grab a snack. No elevator or stair cases to climb.

Excellent location, a little room for improvement

It's located right on lovely Simpson Bay Beach with plenty of restaurants near at hand. The highlight was the veranda right on the beach. The appartement was a bit difficult to find as the only direction to unit 2B is given on a small sign which we initially did not see. The appartement itself was a good size with everything you need. Unfortunately there were a few minor issues, e.g. security window bar inside the bedroom partly off the wall, leaking pipe under the door step (which was repaired during our stay), the insect net at the patio doors had a few holes. Gordon the caretaker was made aware of most of them and promised they would be repaired. The condo had everthing as listed online and we would certainly stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

Intérieur simple mais confortable avec terrasse qui donne directement sur une plage où il y a peu de monde. C'est situé tout près de l'aéroport; on entend les avions décoller et atterrir. Nous ça ne nous dérangeait pas, c'est une curiosité.

Stunning view

Great location on Simpson Bay Beach, incredible views to enjoy all day. The apartment is clean and very basic inside. Missing kitchen storage for food outside of the refrigerator but other than that it has everything you need. Simpson Bay Beach for as popular as it is where this condo is located, and is quiet and peaceful. Great local restaurants and bars that you can walk to just on the same beach… Otherwise you do need a car for groceries and to get out into other parts of Simpson Bay as the roads are very busy. Just loved the views.. pictures in posting are accurate.

Awesome!

The Place was such an amazing setting. To walk out directly from your deck right on to the beach was awesome. The view of Saba Island and all of the Yachts out in the bay was amazing. The weather was perfect. Couldn't ask for anything better. The pictures say it all!

Fabulous beachfront location

This condo could not be on a nicer beach than on Simpson Bay. The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy on the way to the condo but we walked through it many times at night and felt very safe. It's proximity to the airport also makes it very convenient. Not to mention being able to see big jets take off in your backyard. I thought the noise might bother us but it actually was kind of fun. There are only a few of the really big planes that take off on a daily basis so it's not bad at all. The location is really great and within walking distance of many nice restaurants. One of the coolest parts about Simpson Bay are all of the mega yachts that anchor right out in front of your condo. The host was always available whenever we needed them.

Great location- central to everything on the Island!

Very clean, beautiful beach.. as good as any beach on the island! Felt very safe the entire trip. The place came with lots of supplies...we used the cooler the entire week. The kitchen has everything you would need. We went to the grocery store and got coffee, filters, eggs, etc and ate at the place some of the time. They had a cleaning lady come 2x while we were there (10 nights). Was nice to have fresh towels etc during the stay. Loved our stay here and we will be back!

Perfect location - a must stay for St Maarten

This property is exactly as represented in the listing. It’s a perfect location to restaurants and bars. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Hands down the best part was the private deck…just steps away from the beautiful waters of Simpson Bay! Will definitely go again !

This property exceeded our expectations. So close to the ocean. View from the back deck was spectacular. Great kitchen, bath and bedroom. Walking distance to two good beachfront restaurants. We’ll be back!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay as there's nothing better than being right on the beach with your own space and plenty of privacy. Great location and an easy walk to many good choices of restaurants and bars. Very well equipped with everything we could have needed - the kitchen was well stocked, coolers and beach toys were a nice bonus. The property manager was very helpful and it was a nice surprise to learn that housekeeping services were included twice during our two week stay. Good value for a beachfront property and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

One Week in Paradise

After reading the description of this place and booking it months in advance, doubts began to creep in as the months and weeks slowly ticked down. But when we arrived, it was as described and then some! Absolutely GORGEOUS!! We are HUGE movie fans, and I was a wee bit bummed in doing our pre-vacation research of any movie locations that might be fun to see on Sint Maarten. Other than a couple of films we’d never heard of, nothing looked of interest. 🤷‍♂️ Then we arrived and we’re welcomed by Gordon, who graciously showed us all the ins and outs of the condo, the beach, the eateries, and (pointing out at the glistening turquoise ocean) he said, “You can’t see it now because of the low cloud cover, but later on you’ll be able to make out the island of Saba.” “0h nice, I said. That’s the one excursion we’ve booked.” “Oh good, you’re gonna love it. Way back in the 30’s, Hollywood sent a crew their to film some spots for the original King Kong movie.” My jaw nearly hit the floor. Skull Island was within view of our deck!!! Absolute highlight of the trip, just reliving Gordon telling us that! Oh, and exploring Skull Island wasn’t too shabby either!! AMAZING!!! If you are even slightly interested in visiting Sint Maarten, THIS CONDO IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! 👏👏

Location was amazing!

The beach and view from the patio was amazing. There were some waves but it wasn't rough water at all. The back of the condo is literally on the runway!! We watched all the large planes land and take off. We loved this! The main road (2minutes driving) had a million places to eat. We liked take out from little Jerusalem and captains rib shack. I would definitely stay here again. The condo was clean plenty of space a lot of kitchen supplies for cooking. Tupperware pots pans etc. The TV connection is spotty, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

Amazing location and patio

Quiet beach in Simpson Bay, yet very close to activities, stores, restaurants. Having the private patio with lounge chairs and outdoor shower was especially great (only two units in the building have these). Kitchen is well-stocked and the internet worked well. Would definitely stay here again!

Happy New Year!

We enjoyed a wonderful 9 days in this beautiful condo. Loved every minute! Especially loved throwing open the curtains in the morning and taking in the gorgeous view of Simpson Bay. The beach was great for morning dips and long walks. The deck is a great spot to sun and read and the condo was very comfortable and well stocked. Would love a return visit!

Enjoyable stay

It was as we expected from the reviews. The kitchen was very well stocked and some liquor bottles were left partially used. We left some for the next guests. Gordon was very helpful. The only issue was the sand from the beach. A pan with water was the only means if washing our feet coming on to the deck. The unit next door had a portable shower head to wash.

Great stay, again!

Our 4th trip to SXM and Ocean's Edge and, as always, we had a wonderful vacation. The condo is perfect for us, is supplied everything we could need and want, the best location on the Island (we think), and fits our idea of paradise. The constant upgrades to the residence is much appreciated and raises the comfort level to the point that sand gravity is becoming almost impossible to overcome. The deck allows you to sit and drink your morning coffee as the cruise ships arrive and a glass of wine or a nightcap as they leave. Having Karacters right down the beach and Mary's Boon almost next door makes just pulling the chairs or lounges out on the beach for the day a very doable situation. Being right next to the runway is really enjoyable, especially as the KLM flight takes off ! With all he restaurants in Simpson Bay so near it makes dinner out easy and enjoyable. Ocean's Edge allows you to become part of the rhythm of the neighborhood and still enjoy the rest of the Island. We still go to other destinations but always return to SXM and our home away from home.

Back to Reality

Another wonderful stay at Ocean's Edge. Our third stay, and each time seems better then the last. The condo is fully stocked from A to Z. The new beach towels were wonderful, new TV and several other items were also noticed and appreciated. Gordon, property manager, and Jill, booking agent, are always on top of their game and available at any time of the day or night. To be honest, my lovely wife and I go to SXM/Ocean's Edge to relax and enjoy each others company - and that is what we did for two glorious weeks. Being right on the beach can't be beat! The condo/back deck was our home and only left to eat at Karakter 4 times, pick up more groceries and daily run to pick up French baguettes at Atlantico. We swam 4/5 times each day, walked the beach shelling, people and dog watched (not many people though) and talked! Not very exciting but what we want to do on vacation. The location of the condo and amenities gives us all that and more. I'm a true fan of the condo but the management plays a big part of a perfect vacation by providing a clean, functional and stress free place to stay! Thanks again Gordon & Jill - see you soon!

Amazing

Being right on the beach is at the top of our list. We took beach chairs down to the water and let the waves run over us! This complex has 8 condos up/down front/back. This is the best location of all of them. While the condo has everything you could want we lived on the outside deck every night. We did get groceries and cooked at night after our daily adventures. We bought groceries on the way and did not realize they had charcoal grills. Karakter restaurant is a must. This is a great location but you would want to rent a car. One of the highlights of our trip was a dinner by stmartinprivatechef.com. Our children got this dinner as a gift for us. Roman was amazing, great menu choices on his website, 6 STARS! We are going to add this dining experience to more of our trips.

Amazing Vacation

What an amazing place. The condo was very clean and was fully stocked. We didn't need a thing plus it was so quiet at night. Being right on the beautiful beach was the best. Karakter and Mary's Boon were right down the beach and both great places to grab a bite to eat or a cocktail. We rented a car for 4 of the 10 days that we were there. We got groceries and toured the island twice. Orient and Galian beaches were very nice. We took an all day boat tour to Prickley Pear Island, snorkeled, and then went to Anguila. We saw dolphins in the ocean as well. This was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend it. Jill and Gordon were great to work with and we will return and stay in this condo. We have stayed on many islands/ condos and this one is on the top on our list. Sad to be home but know we will return soon
