House was perfect for our family - very clean and comfortable. You should bring extra toilet paper if staying more than 3-4 days. We had planned on using a boat but due to the recent flooding the lake was not usable. Also the driveway and boat ramp were so steep we would not have been able to use them to launch our boat.
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this home. Everything was great, lots of cookware, clean and nice roomy bedrooms. We definitely recommend and we would stay again.
Lake was beautiful, House was great but the driveway to lake was very steep! The picture is very deceiving. We have a family member who uses a wheelchair for mobility and several elder folk that were with us. We were very disappointed because I specifically asked about accessibility - and asked if you could drive down to the water, explaining the above. I was reassured it would be fine. Even with four wheel drive we were not sure we could get back up the hill if wet it was so steep. The stairs inside were extremely steep as well - limiting 3 family members to the one level. We got the wheelchair down to the dock but not without concern for losing control of the chair. You could only drive the truck so far. The picture looks pretty flat there down by the lake but it most certainly was not. You could not safely get the older folks and the wheelchair even around the side of the house to the ground level entrance/hot tub. (No pictures of that) I understand we were in the mountains and on the lake but thats why I specifically asked as it wasnt clear from the pictures. Great place to stay if everyone is young and healthy and able to climb a steep hill.
Angel Cove Hideaway is a beautiful place with an awesome view of the lake. The dock was nice for docking the boats and there is a sitting area by the lake. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it for a large group or family getaway.
Its a great place for family vacation. Great location with lake, mountain view, and quiet. Kids loved to swim in the lake. About a hour drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, lots of great places to visit and week was not enough.
The house we rented was perfect and accommodating to our family of 14. Everyone had their own space if needed and the common areas were just the right size for us all to be together comfortably. We are already planning next years trip!
Perfect lakehouse for a big family gathering with a great view of the cove and island. Dockside boating and swimming was super fun and ut was a plus being 10min away from boat and waverunner rentals.
House met our needs well. Had every amenity needed. The hill is steep when walking to dock and gazebo. That is the only caution I have for others. The house itself is great with plenty of parking.
This lake house was a perfect spot for a family getaway. The layout made it easy and special for us to enjoy the lake and meals together with enough space to get rested at the end of the day. The location is even prettier than the pictures. Thanks to Kesley for being helpful and available as we planned our trip!
