Beautiful Property

Well stocked house with everything you need for a great stay. The large two story windows in the living room provides wonderful dawn views! We had deer and turkey walk by the house. Decks are also perfect for stargazing. Would stay again. Peaceful location.

Amazing Getaway

Our family get together was made even more special with our stay at this beautiful and warm home. Everything you need to enjoy your time away is included- bbq, fireplace, space for relaxing or playing games. We made it easy to Zion and Bryce Canyon for day hikes and got back with enough time to unwind. Awesome hosts and the views are amazing!

Rustic Pines Getawa

We really enjoyed our stay a Rustic Pines. The place was beautiful, clean and had everything needed. The hosts were checking to make sure everything was perfect and the very professionally made guide book of the area, with activities, hikes and restaurants all listed was a great extra to have. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. Great place to stay if you are looking for accommodations in the area.

Great stay near Zion

Stayed with grandparents and our three boys ages 1, 8, and 10. Super clean. Plenty of space. Fun loft for movie night. Most importantly it is very close to Zion park entrance and driving distance to Kanab, Bryce and Escalante

Beautiful Zion location

Beautiful home with beautiful views, wildlife, and view of stars. Perfect for our large family! Location was good for Zion and Bryce as well as other attractions. We paid and used the pool and pickle ball courts and other amenities at the resort nearby. Family already wants to know when we are going back!

Fabulous family visit

Rustic Pine was a perfect property for our family of 8. We just loved it. So many positives, hard to mention them all! Wonderful decorations, beautiful views, nicely equipped kitchen ( I loved the huge cuisinart coffee maker!). Lovely deck and outdoor furniture. Super comfortable beds, we all loved the high quality bedding. The Sonos sound system was great and used all week. Loved Rustic Pine!

Relaxing

This place was perfect for us. After a long hike, we came back to a peaceful house with lots of space for our party of five. We had a wonderful home cooked dinner thanks to their well equipped kitchen. The only warning I have for guests is: the nearest grocery is 30-40 mins out. If you're going for Zion park, go early for parking. We entered the east entrance and were able to do the hikes on that side. As to the Zion Visitor Center, we had to park in Springdale and take the town shuttle and then the park shuttle to get to the trails.

About the host

Hosted by Alex and Vanessa Pavlides

Host profile image
Vanessa’s family built their vacation cabin on the borderline of Zion National Park in the mid-1970’s. As a child, she spent many summers hiking, exploring & enjoying the magical land of Zion. The area created special memories with family and friends; holding a special place in her heart. When Vanessa started a family of her own it was no surprise she brought them to the area; sharing the magic of her childhood with her own family. Hiking familiar trails and discovering new secrets became harder and harder to leave. Soon she and her husband, Alex, realized each visit was never long enough. In 2020 it was time to make Zion their home.
Their love & knowledge of the area ensures their guests experience the magic of the Zion area just like a local. No matter how long or short the stay; everyone is guaranteed a unique experience. Breathtaking vistas, towering cliffs cast in rainbow patterns, sand in your shoes, canyons that wind on in maze-like patterns… it’s all here. Waiting to become unforgettable memories.

What makes this property unique

The home is located on the less crowded East side of Zion, with easy access to the East Zion Trails. It is adjacent to the Ponderosa Ranch Resort where you can access their amenities for additional fees.
