The Urban Bungalow is nestled on a beautiful, tree lined street among other cherished historic homes. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been lovingly preserved. Guest will find original hardwood floors, gas log fireplaces, 12 foot ceilings and 8 foot tall windows looking onto beautiful green space, most of which is enclosed by privacy fence.
The layout of The Urban Bungalow is unique. It was built in
1923 by two sisters as Little Rock's first duplex. They designed it with a connecting door that remains. To create the Urban Bungalow, we have opened this connecting door between 2 separate cottages. These two cottages have full kitchens with dining and living spaces, gas log fireplaces and access to fenced yards. They also include 2 queen beds, 1 King bed and 1 twin bed as well as 3 full bathrooms. Each living room also has a sofa bed, one queen and 1 twin. Families will have plenty of room both for gathering and seclusion.
Large and luxurious, the Urban Bungalow has room enough for everyone to spread out and relax in more than 2,000 sq. ft. of space. The main area of The Urban Bungalow has a large fenced and gated garden that connects to a second smaller courtyard garden, also fenced and gated. Both gardens are fully furnished and have night time lighting, perfect for gatherings.
