Are you looking for a well-appointed home that has room for your entire family? Would you like to escape to a quiet location that is surrounded by nature? Do you love a huge deck with a never-ending Lake View? We think you should consider The Eldorado Lodge for your next family getaway! Tucked into the corner of a 40 ACRE parcel you will find this majestic log home overlooking Lewis and Clark Lake. This unique property is located at the end of a PRIVATE road with absolutely no neighbors. This fabulous custom home features over 3200 square feet of finished living area, plus a 2000 square foot unfinished basement game-room! Most of the windows, on all three levels, look out to the gorgeous Lake. The main floor features an oversize master bedroom with King size bed and an ensuite bathroom, this room also has direct access to the massive deck that spans the length of the house on 2 sides. Formal dining area has a large table with seating for 12 people. Living and dining rooms have soaring ceilings with giant log trusses overhead and 2-story windows that fill the home with sunshine. We have fast WIFI and Roku TVs, so you can log into your account and not miss your favorite movies or shows. Our gourmet kitchen features a commercial size gas stove with griddle plus wall oven / microwave and there is also a 4 burner Weber grill on the deck. Kitchen is fully stocked and features a toaster oven, drip coffee maker, toaster, Keurig machine, blender and dishwasher. Main floor has a half bath, and individual laundry room with washer / dryer and laundry room sink. Upstairs you will discover a large open loft area that overlooks the kitchen and living room, this open loft features 3 queen size beds. There is a suspended walkway that leads to 2 more upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. These bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower over tub and dual sinks. Both of the upstairs bedrooms have a heat pump for individual heat and air conditioning as well as walk out balconies. These heat pumps are in addition to our central air conditioning and forced air heat. Walk out basement features our 4th bathroom with a stall shower. You will also find a commercial quality pool table and foosball table with lake views. We also have a bar and bar stools and a couch / loveseat and our 3rd ROKU TV down there; this space will continue to improve over time. Oversized 3 car garage has direct access to the home and there is additional parking in the large driveway. Home has 1 King bed, 5 Queen size beds, couch, recliner and a large sectional that allows us to sleep 12 comfortably and there is plenty of extra space to entertain and enjoy. You will want a car or truck that is appropriate for gravel roads, we are just under 3 miles from the blacktop of Highway 50. A 4x4 or all-wheel drive might be necessary in the winter months, however we do keep our driveway plowed when it snows. This amazing property is perfect for anyone wanting to get away, family gatherings, retreats, fishing, boating and golfing trips. The Tabor Recreational Area is only a 5-mile drive from our location, this lake access area has a primitive boat ramp and room to park multiple vehicles with boat trailers. There is also lake access that is much closer to the house, only a 3/4-mile drive or hike from our front door. This access has no boat dock or ramp, but you can park cars and trailers here, and launch stand up paddleboards, kayaks or canoes from this location. There are plenty of hiking trails to explore during the day and the night sky can be filled with bright stars. You will fall in love with this home and the peaceful location is nothing short of remarkable.

We are about 10 miles from the Gavins Point Boat Ramp, this is a great place to put in your boat and park a trailer. We are about 12 miles outside Yankton and all of the dining, shopping and other amenities you find in a small town. There are a handful of small country bars with beer, bar food, pool tables and live music that are as close as 6 miles from the log house. We are happy to send links to these establishments as well as our favorite spots from Yankton, just ask.

We don't do "auto booking" because we want to make sure the home is a match for your family. It is very important to us that you have a great time at the lodge. If you send a booking request, please tell us how many people are in your group, both adults and children, and let us know what brings you to Yankton. We advertise that we have room for up to 14 overnight guests, be sure to understand that this includes 1 king bed, 5 queen beds, a couch, sectional and recliner. If your group is more than 12 people, they will be sleeping on the couch, recliner or sectional. We have extra pillows, sheets and blankets as well as a Pack and Play crib.
