I came to see the country and experience the Culture, so I was venturing outside the resort walls. At first, I was a little Leary because I am a single woman traveling on my own and because of rumors that I heard about the dangers of DR I was a bit hesitant. But with the Yolo spirit in my heart, I did it anyways and found out that that's exactly what they were " RUMORS". I always felt safe, and the people were friendly, helpful and very hospitable at this point I fell in love with the Country and the People. I started YOLO!
